My morning coffee, folding laundry and a Roxana video! Great way to start my day. Your garden is so beautiful. And definitely my inspiration. I am new to gardening and started with vegetables. I remind myself that I can make whatever space I have my own little paradise. I find myself looking at things in a more creative way to make it beautiful. Thank you for sharing! Have a wonderful day 😊
My husband says the same about having help in my new home, but gardening is a love not a chore that I need to rush through. Maintaining the garden is a part of gardening.
Love the natural but well thought out look of your garden. Every section seems to be flowing into the next section effortlessly👏🏾 Love the lilacs, very pretty.
What a treat to see the spring garden come to life! And with the demands of the spring garden plus the rest of your life, be sure to give yourself grace to space out the videos. We’ll be here for the next chapter, no worries.
Your "as is" garden looks just fine . We all have other things we have to do, but we always come back to what we love to do ..................gardening!
So beautiful! 😍 I love, LOVE your garden! I told myself I wasn’t gonna add more beds until I finish all the ones I started last year. I just added four more flowerbeds and my garden is a huge mess. It’s coming along though. Can’t complain because I love it!😆 Thank you for sharing. Always look forward to your videos!💗
There are so many beautiful favorites in your garden for me I can’t name one! It looks amazing even without being more tidy! Just shows that a well planned garden can perform well without heavy maintenance! Well done! Mine is a work in progress for sure! Thanks for sharing and happy gardening!🥰
As a fairly new gardener, this is the best kind of tour! Your beautiful garden is especially inspiring because the size of your space and the amount of time you’re able to give it is very relatable. I also like that you experiment with plants and methods then share your successes and failures.
Those Akebono were my favorites too. I couldn't believe how beautiful and huge they were. I love seeing your garden, I love the real versions, even the weeds.
This was a nice update. The pink tulips were beautiful - they looked like peonies. Don't let an less than manicured garden stop your updates. Life is not perfect - Live with it!
Everything looks soo beautiful , you got some great shrubs flowering right now . I love 💕 to garden , too and at times it’s overwhelming when it seems like everything needs to be done at the same time , I have to remind myself to try and enjoy the process and not get stressed out the way I do . We haven’t been getting any rain here in Western Massachusetts but finally last night it came , yay 😁 for the rain
Your garden looks great!!! I hear ya though... my to-do list keeps growing! And still haven't even started hardening off peppers and eggplant yet because we've had frost & freeze warnings the last 3 nights and still have nights in the 30s next week (& I brought tomatoes inside last few nights). Just a few weeks behind last year! Oh well, it'll get done.
Just found your channel, and I love it!! Your garden is lovely! I too live in central Indiana and am an organic gardener, so I can watch a video that really speaks to me. I also love your metal trellis on the house, love to know where you got that piece! Can't wait to go through your back vlogs! Happy gardening.
I love your bridal wreath spirea. My grandfather was a nurseryman here in Muncie for many years in the 60s and 70s and it was one of his favorite shrubs. I’m so glad you leave it in its natural weeping shape. Love watching your videos. Your garden is lovely.
Thank you! It was a bit hard to find these shrubs, all the nurserys kept telling me they were "older" shrubs that were discontinued, I found 2 at Lowes and never looked back.
I am in Illinois, and felt I was the only one who was behind with planting, weeding, mulching, irrigation, you name it. Your video is so real and encouraging to me. I'm not too late. Thank you - and your garden is gorgeous. Those pink tulips in the no dig bed 😍.
I am so far behind this year too. Zone 5 Illinois. Had to rebuild a mini retaining wall from tree root intrusion and it snow balled into a front yard renovation. The rain set me back. Back & side yard beds haven't been touched. ugh.
Central Indiana here too, and I’m in the same boat as you. Haven’t done a whole lot in the garden, just waiting for things to warm up and dry out but then it became summer overnight! What gives? I’ve been hardening off annuals and veggies and hope to plant this weekend (FINALLY!)
I love your happy place and I feel your pain with weeds 🥴 I’ve about got the parameter of my yard weeded for the past month and I turn around and the side I started with have weeds again! I think this year I will use preen Your yard is just gorgeous please tell me again what the name of the yellow tulips were love love love
Hi Roxanna, it all looks amazing! Question, how do you deal with diseases and pests on your vegetable garden? This year I started with 2 raised beds that my hubby built and planted stuff I grew from seed ,thanks to the your videos. It's my very 1st time doing this, and my tomatoes and cucumbers already started showing signs of disease or possibly pest damage. I've tried following stuff that I read and see on RUclips and still things don't look that good. I'm getting discouraged and I wanna keep everything as organic as possible. If you could please do a video with what has worked for you in your veggie garden it would be appreciated! Saludos😀
I do have “some” pests, but not much, I add TONS of marigolds, basil and nasturtiums because they help to suppress those pests, so you will see those flowers kinda in between everything. Pests just happen, a healthy ecosystem has all kinds of bugs and they all gotta eat. Try to provide something they would not like OR something they would rather eat (like nasturtium) than your tomatoes.
Everything is looking amazing! What is the spray for dog urine? My Labrador killed a new fluffy arborvitae. It was too far away to keep it hosed off. Im so behind here in Kansas zone 6b. It was so cold and extremely windy last week. Then it jumped right into heat index of 100 😮🥵 So uncomfortable to be outside right now. My weeds are so bad, I love the process too. Also, I don’t think I can trust someone to pull the weeds or prune the right way unless they were really experienced. I love that renaissance spirea! So pretty! ❤
Hi Roxanne. Those Akebono tulips are so pretty. Thinking about those for next year. Also, where did you get the concrete birdbath? I’ve been looking for one for my succulent garden. Just wanted to let you know, after pulling a hose around all day yesterday I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting a Hoselink before the summer is over.
Hello, I hope you had a nice Mother’s Day enjoying your beautiful garden! Una preguntita….. la estatua, donde la comprastes, la mantienes afuera en el invierno? Hermoso jardin. Saludos y gracias.
Hola! Thank you! Si, afuera todo el año y la compre en una de mis visitas a Northwest Indiana, hay un shop donde venden statues y piezas de concreto y ahí la encontre
Hi there! I just found you and i am so happy! We have very similar gardening styles. I'm in Virginia in zone 6b and just recently the power company took a number of trees down. It's been quite the shock and am overwhelmed. Not sure where to start. One of the issues is that I, too, have a hydrangea hedge which made sense before the trees were cut down but now that the the trees are gone, ugh, the look doesn't work. I now have about 15 feet of open space behind the hedge. Any thoughts would be so appreciated. What might you suggest?
Hmmm If you want privacy back like what you had with those trees, maybe a wall of something evergreen and tall, like one of those "north" something arborvitae, they are supposed to be hardy and tall and skinny... other than that I would look into planting something like a small set of trees but since I only have redbuds I am really no help there.
@@SoilandMargaritas thanks for your thoughts. Im thinking some river birch bc of the beautiful winter interest. The arbovitae what was just taken down by the power company. They grow so tall and fast they quickly get into the power lines. Good luck with your gardens. They are lovely.
The same here in Illinois (15 miles from St. Louis, MO) the rain set me back now it’s almost a 100 degrees. It’s in the 90’s this week, weeds are everywhere
If you are referring to the trellis in the Thumbnail (diamond one) that is on the garage, I found that on Amazon here amzn.to/3wBoMwN The one running along the properly line is cattle panel being hold by 4x4xs

Thank you so much! I do love creating little sections, you gotta get creative each year in the garden.
I'm considering hiring someone to clean my house, so I could spend more time in the garden.
THAT is a great idea!

It looks like your garden is literally off to an early start!! OneLove ❣
Everything is looking beautiful.

Every shot of your garden is beautiful!
Thank you so much! I hope the heat is arriving up there.
So beautiful and lush, I can tell your a perfectionist. Those pink tulips I have never seen those they are so pretty.
Not a perfectionist, but I like my garden to look a certain way lol The tulips are amazing, I love pink blooms anything!
My heucheras were eaten by the roots by moles or voles, I have both. Lovely garden!
Beautiful alliums, gorgeous tulips in the annual border🌷

Your garden does not look small. Would love an overhead view. It’s beautiful!
Thank you, I don't have the tools for an overview shot unfortunately.
Love your video! We all have weeds and at least one bag of potting soil and empty pots sitting around ☺️
Yes we do lol
Beautiful garden and so many beautiful blooms and new growth.
Thank you so much!
Everything looks great! I have a hard time keeping up with everything too so don't be hard on yourself.
I saw a fleeting look of the coleus hardening off. They look awesome!

I love your garden it’s so pretty and lush! Those tulips are beautiful I miss growing those now I’m in Florida.👍❤️😎
A bit harder to grow them there, but not impossible!
Looks great, I heard somewhere that smaller containers are good for butterflies when filled with enough water to just cover the rocks. 🌸🦋
Gorgeous 🌷💜
Absolutely Stunning flowers & gardens! Loved the tour! New Subby!❤️

Your lilacs are so pretty. I miss my lilacs so much. It’s too warm here for them to set bloom.

Can you do a video of the flowers that stay all summer??
This is life!! I think your garden looks amazing!! Wouldn’t it be nice if weeds just didn’t grow?? 🌸🌸

Thank you! I don't know their names, I didn't tag them.
@@SoilandMargaritas Thank you! They are just beautiful. Have you ever tried to keep the tulip bulbs that you pull and plant them the next year?
How many tulips do you typically plant during the season? They are all beautiful! 💜
It just depends on the year, between 500-900 maybe.
Beautiful where do you buy the decoratin wall for the plant please
I think you are referring to the diamond trellis.. Amazon.
Hi Roxanne. Those Akebono tulips are so pretty. Thinking about those for next year.

Just wanted to let you know, after pulling a hose around all day yesterday I’m pretty sure I’ll be getting a Hoselink before the summer is over.
The hoselink is a great tool and I love it. I think I got that bird bath at Lowes a while ago.
I’m sure you’ve already covered this but what kind of mulch do you use? Love the way it looks! ❤️
Brown premium mulch from lowes
