Penland Hall

Welcome to Penland Hall! Penland is home to more than 400 first-year male and female residents of all majors, including members of the Outdoor Adventure LLC. The community helps residents to prioritize health and wellness emphasizing the importance of spiritual, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
Penland Hall features unique community-style amenities and rooms, with each student being guaranteed a bed, desk, chair, drawers, closet space, and access to a community laundry facility and community bathroom on each floor. Also available are reflection rooms, study areas, a community kitchen, and a common lobby area to aid in students’ academic and personal success. Please note that all dimensions listed are approximate and that the rooms and layouts in each residence hall vary slightly. Typical measurements are as follows:
