  • Kelly Ann Tinyes was at home babysitting her eight-year-old brother, Richie, on the afternoon of March 3, 1989 when the phone rang. Richie answered, talking briefly to the man on the other end of the line, before handing the phone to his sister, telling her it was someone named “John.” After a short conversation with “John,” Kelly hung up the phone and left the house around 3:15 pm, telling her brother she was going to her friend’s house down the street and would be right back. It was the last time Kelly’s family would see her alive.

I came here after watching news 12 Long Island at work yesterday seeing that he’s eligible for parole and didn’t know about the story. I hope he continues to serve life in prison what a monster!!!!

I heard about this case recently from the Howard Stern Show, an old episode where Howard talked to the father about stuff going on between his family and the Golub family. I decided to look more into this as I don't recall having ever heard about it, and I have to say, aside from giving birth to a monster that murdered what appears to be a very sweet and innocent 13 year old neighborhood girl, the Golub family appear to be a very, very horrible family, that opted to cause continued pain and anguish to the Tinyes family even after their son was convicted of the horrific and brutal murder. May the very worst things imaginable happen to that family either in this life or the hell they will meet upon death in this world.

An interesting point in time where DNA evidence is argued for admission, yet polygraph tests are used. Curious.

Not sure why anyone is asking why they talk about random stuff and laugh before the story. Uhhhh to prepare for this horrific case. Also to take a breather from being surrounded by the darkness of it all. Im sorry but if they just did the case and nothing more this podcast would be like any other. MORBID is not like any other! At the end of the day you'll stick with your opinion. Im just stating mine 🤗

I actually attended this trial. Had to get to the Mineola courthouse by 6am to even possibly have a chance of getting in. It was a zoo. Sad case all around.

You're taking about Zoolander and tv shows. To preface a sorry about the brutal murder of a child. Show some respect. Those were real people who lost their child. Those parents are still alive and still mourning their loss.
