Tostones are made with green/unripe plantains so they are never sweet. Maduros (I think Puerto Rico calls them Amarillos) uses the super ripe plantain that is very sweet, the kind that is black outside.

Before covid you could have tacos and then go in their basement and dance them all off. Can't wait for that to come back :( Most restaurants in Brooklyn are going full balls to wall winterized, so the outside seating should have good enough light. But we'll see. ;(

They did make an exception for me so I can show all the flavors in the video without getting alot of extra food. The no mix still applies I think.
