This is what I love about the internet. Ex billions dollar drug lord chatting with an ex undercover drug cop in a pleasant and honest conversation. The irony is just incredible, in another time and place these two would have fought to the death to come out on top.
The police in the UK seem a bit odd. Like the guy who got arrested for playing football with his son inside front garden for breaking quarantine the other day. And the Cops gloating about catching people for travelling beyond quarantine limits. Do your job that's great but why are they always gloating on Twitter.
What a great interview and interviewer. Shaun asks questions and listens to his response, no ego, very relaxed, yet informative. Neil woods is relaxed and comfortable with Shaun, whereas he wasn’t in a previous interview that I watched on RUclips with another interviewer.
Great watch Shaun, I think your interviewing style is getting better with age. Ive been following Neil for a while now, and am a huge proponent of legalisation. Great work getting the message out there. I'm often trying to push the same message. lets hope rational legislation will finally make an appearance in our British Legal system
The government should really take note of what was said in this two hour podcast and take action and great to have Neil interviewed in a more relaxed manner so he could open up more on what needs to be done towards combating the drug war on our streets.
Brilliant Interview shaun, Neil, will definitely be pointing others in the direction of this and hope many out there can also show their support for LEAP. Many thanks, Love&Respect...;)

Great interview, by far one of your best. Really frank and enlightening conversation that I hope opens a few peoples eyes. This guy is talking from experience of dealing with people from all walks of life and taking a step back from the blue line to think about how can we really help each other and society as a whole. I think that’s what you both have in common, going through the meat grinder from opposites end of the spectrum and both coming to the same conclusion. Brilliant guys all the best and huge respect to both of you in this chapter in your lives 👍
County lines is the best example of how drug dealing has evolved into something far more brutal over time. The town I live in, all of the dealers used to be local addicts. There are no longer any local addicts that sell drugs, (heroin and crack) unless they're doing the leg work for a county lines gang. For which they're paid less than half of the minimum wage.
I think a lot of them run up debts and get blackmailed and forced into running to pay off their debts. Then gangs can fake robberys of product from the runners to constantly keep them in debt to continue the running. It's awful
