The reason why max health wins is cause some ark creatures have a base of 200 or 300 attack damage which heavily influences the strength of each upgrade. Although. All creatures always are tamed with a 100% health no matter how high their health actually was in the wild. Meaning a tamed paracer with about 1200 health will get about 130 each level in health But a paracer with 2500 health will get 260 health each upgrade.
