Check the shadows. I use special paper (can be found at Walmart it's not special expensive paper, 2.50 for a notebook, just know what you have to look for) that has a thin coating on it. This causes the ink to take longer before it is absorbed by the paper (bleeding, like when you put a felt marker on a paper and it slowly starts bleedimg thru the fibers in a big blob y'know). That paper combined with the surface tension of water will literally give you 3d lettering. Look up gauche calligraphy for even better 3D

But if you use a more paint like ink (like gauche) it will stay 3D, I forgot to mention that lol. So in the video it is 3D, but it will flatten during evaporation.
