I recently took a Gallup "interview". It was online consisted of 100 questions. My hiring manager told me it used to be over the phone but they changed it to online with a timer. I finished the interview but I noticed right away the questions were trick questions that were geared at discovering how you work with ppl as a team member, questions that could trick you into saying you are the best rather than there are many skilled ppl who you work with, things like that.
Very true ! Gallup has changed the pattern and structure of the assesment … but the basis of leadership will not change …. So it’s very important to sharpen the basics of leadership and how it applies in day to day work … if you connect work experiences with leadership principles , then Gallup is a cake walk !
Heyyy.. He is right, Gallup is now in 2 format in stryker For normal role its Ai Generated with 40-45mind in which youll get around 50 question.. And if you have applied for people. Manager role it'll be for 2-4hours taken by a person judging your people management and team management capabilities..
How would you respond if you answered 10 to how organised are you and then they asked are you always busy. It makes sense to say no however if you want to also appear as a hard worker- I would think they would want you to say yes?

How do we know when to use examples? Is asked how competitive on a scale of 1-10 is it ok to give the number and is it safer to give a STAR example also or just leave the number?
That’s really a good question ! That’s where my experience can help you to understand through my classes …Reason .. I cannot explain it in one answer or one line … it requires understanding of each question and pitching it accordingly … and with practice you get better- when to use an example and when not to …. Well that’s where majority get tricked and loose out ! I can only say that if you have to understand the ecosystem of Gallup to catch
