“He’ll never stay, they never do.” The fact she said this in her lyrics shows you how strong she is and how people do you wrong and can be so quick to give up on you use you or abuse you. After awhile you stop caring who leaves your life. Heartbreak really doesn’t become a thing anymore cause you never let anyone in anyway. The problem is when you wanted to gave your heart on a plate wore it on your sleeve it was ripped to shreds so now you can’t even begin to figure out how to make it back to the way it was. People can be so cruel and vicious. Getting done wrong abandoned left for dead by former romantic partners can really mess you up

It was an accident lol. Abel had previously been ad-libbing gibberish over the track and Benny Blanco forgot to mute his vocal track when showing it to Halsey but she fell in love with the melody-as did I. This track is enormous and so fucking dark! I really wish he’d done other songs on the album, Halsey’s voice is perfect for his melodies.
