Hi... M new learner... My driving is very moderate on highways n city.... Many buyers are saying it's has engine noise when accelarate, underpower engine with load of 5 peoples, gearbox issue on 1 n 2nd even with BS6 phase 2... Is it true?
Bro is there any issue with the paddling of the doors...one of my friend is complaining that visible dust comes inside the boot and the door sides after driving in dusty roads..do you see any such issues?

What for does it require another engine ? Why do people oogle on catch words like Turbo that are marketed by other OEMs ? Just for a comparison, the market leader Maruti does not offer a Turbo petrol engine on most models... The same 1.5L K15C/B naturally aspirated engine does duty on the Ertiga/XL6, GV / UC Hyryder (Smart Hybrid), to be launched Jimny. Its 1.2L NA petrol engines are found in the Swift, WagonR, Baleno, Dzire, Ignis, Fronx (this gets a 1L turbo engine option in addition). Their 1L NA engine (K10B/C) is found in the Celerio, Alto, WagonR, Spresso. The 1.2L K12C engine puts out a similar power figure, the difference is in vehicle weight, a 5* rated one to a 0* rated one. This would also reflect is minimal increase in FE figures. Therefore, it's up to the buyer to decide -- does one want a safe and reliable car on the road while traveling with family, or save a few pennies and risk your life in the unfortunate case of an accident. Please compare FE figures of the Turbo petrols (i20/Venue/ Sonet, Kushaq /Taigun, Slavia/Virtus, Creta/Seltos) to get an idea of "Turbo" effects.
If you look these online car reviews specially this channel, you would feel Indians should blindly go and buy Tata and Mahindra cars. They are just perfect, there are no flaws in these cars at all. We as viewers and buyers come to these channels to get an unbiased opinion, but sadly we dont get it. If we go by what these youtube channels have to say, fir toh baki manufacturers ko nikal hi jana chahiye India se, why do we even have other brands like Suzuki, VW, Hyundai etc.
@@debayanmukherjee1800 I get about 12-14 kmpl in Delhi traffic, sometimes drop to 10-11 kmpl, but on highway if you maintain 100km/hrs then mileage is about 17-19kmpl and if speed is 80km/hrs then easy 21-23 kmpl
Purchased TATA Punch Accomplish AMT BS VI Phase 2nd in Feb 2023. Getting 18 plus milege tank to tank on highway and 13 plus in city. Much smoother AMT with better refinement. Great improvement by TATA.
The greatest drawbacks of Punch are: 1. No Hill hold assist. Come on, every modern car at 8 lakhs on road onwards offer this. Only those ppl driving at hilly areas will understand its necessity. Considering its offroad capability at this segment, No Hill Hold assist in even top variant can be a deal breaker for many - including me. 2. No rear AC vent even at Top model. 3. Side cladding is tooooo big for its size. These black plastic claddings lose shine and becomes dull after a few years. Also, they also retain muds and dirts on them much easily. Should have been made a bit narrower. 4. While front look is amazing, rear is too small and diminishes its looks from behind. Moreover, absence of any roof rails denies it the taller height impression. They've fixed the armrest issue with the new SR version. If TATA manages to take care of all the basic issues above then it will attract many more Exter, Magnite and Kiger buyers.

TATA must add 3 things in this car to make it more appealing. 1. Center armrest 2. Rear ac vents 3. Change that lock system.. Then Punch can do wonders in this segment.
Sir I drive Punch and believe me bcz of its upright driving position u don't need an armrest at all. 10k km in 1 year and i never felt the need for an armrest even once even when driving it for 10 to 12 hrs in trips
This BSVI phase 2 engine is really good. Altroz and Punch both got the same Engines in which Now Altroz produces 88ps Power which is good . Also the refinement level is closer to a 4 cylinder car . Performance is really improved than older engines, but if you want that Enthusiasm feel then Turbo should be provided .
Problems with Punch: 1. 3-cylinder engine which clearly shows diff when compared to 4-cylinder engine. 2. Brakes are not very proper, there is a 1-2s lag. 3. Features are less and the interior looks a little old-fashioned. 4. They still carry the analog speedometer 5. Many features missing compared to the rival like hill assist etc... 6. Drag power is low compared to the engine they have, even though it's refined, still not good 7. Clutch and gearbox is still not smooth, feel a little hard 8. Too many packs and models makes choosing very indecisive and the value fades away. 9. For CNG cars tata doesnt offer extended warranty yet which is bad. 10. They do not have rear AC vents, common tata, now u shouldve added it.(edited)

Not an owner of punch yet.... But i drove one..... It is really a grt car..... Now if in next update if they include a 20-30kw motor in the rear with 5-10kwh battery and sync the engine with the motor ONLY for pure off-road drive and for emergency situations and even they increase the price by 50k i blv it will be a complete car. i have been driving a punch since last September. Overall I am satisfied with the car. The one issue with the car is that the engine often feels sluggish when you feel like having a sudden acceleration (mine is AMT). Hope with this upgrade, that issue is resolved. Otherwise, in terms of comfort, safety feel, and driving comfort, the car is good. If you want a car for a daily commute in city traffic, this is a good choice. But if you are looking for a power drive, you might feel disappointed.
@@manusebastian1339 Thanks. That is bit low isn't it. I have XL6 and it gives only 9kmpl (torque converter). I used it for city driving and so thinking of Punch as it is easy for my old parents to get in and out.
Purchased this car only problem is the engine does not have any high end torque, i mean when you are speed of 80-90 no matter how much you press the accelerator the car goes to 100 and plus very slowly which is needed when you need to overtake sometimes it feels like the engine is not responding to the accelerator but if you are driving in 80-90 range it's ok. Down a gear and you will get the torque. Lower gears are better infact the torque is too much you don't need to even accelerate at second gear. I am talking about BS6PH2 engine.

Tata is a safe car but still it still need to work on fitment of panel... not sure if you have noticed but the boot lid still has uneven gaps (even the car in this video) and alignment is not as expected... Tata needs to work on it...
How can you even criticize bro? Dont you know its tata and its the safest car? These channels will never talk about reliability of tata engines, the fit and finish, after sales service etc. The only point people consider while buying a car is safety and that's it, doesnt matter if the car breaks down in the middle of the trip, toh kya hua safe toh hai na.

I wont criticize tata for their safety parameter but like you said if a car breaks down in the middle of the trip that shouldnt be happening toh safety ka kya achaar daloge.. secondly, I have seen cars which are brand new and just being delivered to customer has paint issue... Orange Peels, pin holes on a brand new car... not all are expert in doing PDI.. but common Tata Dealership should atleast do some quality checks..

Bro to be really honest compromise with features its really okay to suffer with features agar jaan hogi to dusre features dalwa doge after market go for altroz as punch and grand i10 both will be smaller altroz is a great and safer alternative for baleno well if you consider me go for TATA Altroz any variant
As you have your running on highways aswell I would suggest you to go with Tata. Do note that Altroz is bigger in length than Punch which helps in getting legroom but Punch is having better under thigh support. Hence for longer trips punch would be a great car. I was in same situation but eventually picked up Nexon XZA+ petrol AMT.
The problem with the car is it's infotainment system , tiny & laggy also no wireless Android Auto or apple car play. Next while driving i did notice that the car has some weight for which engine performance is not very prompt specially considering it's a 3 cylinder engine. These two things change and it will be a better choice.

i have been driving a punch since last September. Overall I am satisfied with the car. The one issue with the car is that the engine often feels sluggish when you feel like having a sudden acceleration (mine is AMT). Hope with this upgrade, that issue is resolved. Otherwise, in terms of comfort, safety feel, and driving comfort, the car is good. If you want a car for a daily commute in city traffic, this is a good choice. But if you are looking for a power drive, you might feel disappointed.
I am assuming you had 2022 AMT Punch. May I know what the real mileage of AMT in City traffic ? Thanks.

Purchased this car only problem is the engine does not have any high end torque, i mean when you are speed of 80-90 no matter how much you press the accelerator the car goes to 100 and plus very slowly which is needed when you need to overtake sometimes it feels like the engine is not responding to the accelerator but if you are driving in 80-90 range it's ok. Down a gear and you will get the torque. Lower gears are better infact the torque is too much you don't need to even accelerate at second gear. I am talking about BS6PH2 engine.

Tata is a safe car but still it still need to work on fitment of panel... not sure if you have noticed but the boot lid still has uneven gaps (even the car in this video) and alignment is not as expected... Tata needs to work on it...
How can you even criticize bro? Dont you know its tata and its the safest car? These channels will never talk about reliability of tata engines, the fit and finish, after sales service etc. The only point people consider while buying a car is safety and that's it, doesnt matter if the car breaks down in the middle of the trip, toh kya hua safe toh hai na.

Orange Peels, pin holes on a brand new car... not all are expert in doing PDI.. but common Tata Dealership should atleast do some quality checks..

Bro to be really honest compromise with features its really okay to suffer with features agar jaan hogi to dusre features dalwa doge after market go for altroz as punch and grand i10 both will be smaller altroz is a great and safer alternative for baleno well if you consider me go for TATA Altroz any variant
As you have your running on highways aswell I would suggest you to go with Tata. Do note that Altroz is bigger in length than Punch which helps in getting legroom but Punch is having better under thigh support. Hence for longer trips punch would be a great car. I was in same situation but eventually picked up Nexon XZA+ petrol AMT.
My opinion, Altroz would be good for 5 people. Yu can get OEM fitted instrument cluster and reverse camera.

The problem with the car is it's infotainment system , tiny & laggy also no wireless Android Auto or apple car play.
Next while driving i did notice that the car has some weight for which engine performance is not very prompt specially considering it's a 3 cylinder engine.
These two things change and it will be a better choice.

You will get that engine in Tata Harrier. Its difficult in small sized SUVs.

Buy Punch because it's ground clearance is 187 mm vs Altros has just 165 mm. But in Altros you can get turbo engine which will cost you above 10 lakhs

The rear seat comfort is average because backrest is very upright whereas Nios has a much more relaxed and reclined kind of feel
