- We pulled up to watch the CRAZY Cordner Eggleston cup between Melbourne Grammar and Scotch College. 166 years ago, MGS and Scotch played in the FIRST official game of Aussie Rules football. Fast forward to 2024, we watched one of the CRAZIEST comeback's we've ever seen. MGS was down 71-45 with less than 10 minutes in the game, coming back to beat Scotch on the buzzer!
For a team that looked like it wasn’t gonna get a win all season they’ve somehow pulled off an insane comeback. Respect.
As one of the coaches for Geelong Grammar, they will absolutely decimate both Geelong teams, they are both horrid this season.+-
@@swordiexd nah I reckon that match up will be even. Geelong grammar has a few scholarship boys who are top end draft picks, but not much depth

Been 30yrs since i played in one of these, very happy that this rivalry is still going strong and that winning still matters. But, cant say im too pleased bout hugging oppo players b4 the game..

I thought Melbourne Grammar was supposed to be like the best aps footy school and yet this is the only game they have won this season. Good on them for winning them!
