Hello Sara, My mother lives with us and I am her full time in home care provider. I feel it's important that she keeps a social circle for her mental health but when we have her older friends over they do 2 things. 1. Treat me as if I'm still my mothers child daughter and not a 50+ yr old adult. 2. She has a couple that insist on looking in every room and cupboard and drawer even if we politely tell her they are off limits today. I don't want my mother to have to stop socializing just because of this but at the same time my nerves are just shot by the time they leave. What to do?!
