i didn't mention it in the video but 'hoe' ≠ sexy. 'hoe' is really degrading and no one should ever call anyone that. especially if you aren't friends with them and don't know them personally. if you still don't see anything wrong with the nickname after knowing that, then i don't know what else to tell you. :)

the fact lino lives a humble life himself (with bundles, sleeping on a mat and everything) but spend money to treat his friends to meals, saves cats lives, donate to causes etc is everything you need to understand about his personality.

As someone who has met minho in person a lot of times, I could attest to the fact that he really is a nice person.. I actually didn't have any bias before.. I love all of them equally.. but after my first fan sign, I fell for Lee Know.. he's really warm and caring.. and when the staff asked me to move to the other member, he didn't break eye contact until after he made sure that Han is already talking to me.. he's reaaally sweet😭

I recently read on Twitter that Minho and Seungmin get really upset when people call them Minhoe or Suengmean... They are both adorable and sweet and since Koreans have a more conservative sense of humor we should be aware not to cross the line... We shouldn't upset them

It's not that koreans don't joke like this. But words like h*e and mean isn't used as they still have strong negative meanings. Above that being called by that from total strangers is really weird and unpleasant. So its best to not call them that more so now they have said it themselves.

Minho truly cares for his members a lot even though the members act like they're scared of him (but it's also because they tease him, which just proves that they're comfortable with minho). He cares for lotsa things but he does them so discreetly that no one realises it, or just don't think much about it until someone collates a list of wonderful things he did. Plus all the donations to help animals and kids, even with his cats he adopted soongie cuz he was volunteering at some cat shelter and saw soongie dying, and dori was from an abandoned cats shelter. He really has a big heart and while we're into the minho is savage and scary concept, I think lotsa stays who don't know him well enough just thinks he's mean and with the recent scandals everyone just keeps speculating that he could be a bully and it really drives me crazy cuz if you watch stray kids older contents you'll realise that the members got close and comfy with him really quickly even though he only trained for 1-2 months, and minho's always helping the members with dancing so I really hope people stop speculating sighhh

Have you guys ever know that Minho never had a proper birthday party since 2017? . all the members (I seriously love all of them I just want to say we stays never even understood this!) had a bday vlive or they celebrate it together and told us about it minho always make their favorite food in their bday. For minho's bday always something happened. we don't deserve him ㅠㅠ
I'm a new stay, and from the start Minho caught my eye. I watched a lot of interviews and I realised that it was English interviews that he was more silent, since it isn't his first language. In Korean interviews he is more active. I honestly think he is amazing and love how much he knows himself and what he can do. Minho is such an underrated all rounder and I definitely don't regret stanning
honestly minho is one of the idols that I respect and relate to the most. He really is a very honest and simple person who doesn't let others dictate what he does, says, or thinks. He also has so much talent and is so ready to share his passion for music and dance that it often inspires me to pursue the things I love as well. He also donates in ways that I hope to as well in the future; just another reason for him to be my role model.

tbh i was one of those stays that jokingly called him meanhoe (i obviously knew he isn't mean) and after he addressed it somewhere saying he doesn't like it, i immediately felt bad. just shows we should never cross the line & that others have feelings too - kinda teared up a bit because our personalities seem so alike!
He's my UB, the boy who helps me everyday to feel better and confident in myself. I'm so glad to know him through his musics, dances. Minho is a literal angel, always caring about his members & Stays. He has been my light and my role model for so many things. I hope one day, I'll be able to thank him for all the things he had done and continue to do for me, yeah just knowing he's living makes me happy.

I’m a baby stay and Minho immediately caught my attention after watching a couple videos of the members interacting. I could tell he’s the sort of tsundere type and has an amazing caring heart and is so special and unique. For real!! When I first became a STAY the only things I knew Minho was for :
-Being a dancer
-Being mean and
-Being the other half of Minsung
Like??? I literally had to search vids. of him alone or him with other members to know more about his personality. Don't get me wrong he IS a dancer, he IS a tsundere (but that's not the same as being mean) and Minsung is Really loud but he is SOOOO much more than that. He is own individual person and definitely NOT a 'meanhoe' 😔
Same, he was introduced to me as only a main dancer and a tsundere so I didn't really find anything interesting in him, but then I realized I wasn't paying much attention to him at all so I started searching for his videos but I found nothing new. I found his true self through other member's videos and I still regret not knowing him earlier. There should be more videos like this one for new stays.

i’m just so glad that i clicked on this video. minho is my main ult and i love him so much. it does really hurt me when i see people joking around, using this nickname and acting like he’s the meanest and coldest person on earth when he’s actually so sweet and full of love. the fact that he has a different and kind of more reserved way of showing affection does not mean that he’s mean or cold, people act like they’ve never met an introvert or just a quiet kind of person in their entire life. idk, some people just don’t feel comfortable showing affection publicly/prefer to do it in a private way, just mind your own business.
it also makes me so mad when people reduce him to 1/2 of a ship, he’s so much more than that (i guess that shipping members is -or should be- usually harmless but people often take it way too far).
minho has worked and continues to work so hard to improve as an artist and to become a better version of himself, he’s such a talented and passionate dancer and he has worked so hard on his singing too, improving A LOT (i do really love his voice) and he has every right to be confident in the way he looks (it does not sit well with me at all that people go around calling him names because of this...) but people keep discrediting all of his hard work and reducing him to an invented personality trait and a ship, it’s frustrating... i’m just so proud of him and everything he has accomplished and i honestly wish people would take the time to actually get to know him instead of watching 1 clip of a situation in which he’s just not amused or even just tired (cause as hard as it might be to believe the man is a human being and can’t be happy and smiley all the time, that’s just not how life works) and just believing in the image of him that a dead ‘joke’ has been dragging around for way too long.

Im not an army but I listen to some of bts' songs and I've learned to identify the members. I've always respected RM and Suga and Jhope from what I've seen of them in interviews and stuff (also maybe bc i find rappers impressive) so its a huge surprise that anyone would think about Suga that way, atleast to me.

It’s not funny to throw around misconceptions about Minho... If you guys would just observe him and listen to what the members say about him, you’d know that he’s an extremely caring person. Hyunjin is not terrified of Minho and Seungmin does not hate Minho. More than that, Minho is not just half of Minsung or any other ship. Honestly , this head voice is amazing . Head voices are usually v very difficult to listen . They usually sound really breathy and forced . His is so pleasing to listen too
I'm only a Stay since end of march and when I gtr in the fandom, I learned to know Minho as "meanhoe". But after three weeks in stanning them I realized that he is so much more than that. Yeah, he sometimes says things like "let's eliminate people" (i hope y'all know what i mean) but he's also one of the most caring people i know. And it makes me really sad that his caring side isn't that popular
One thing I hate about agencies is, if someone Doesn't sing or isn't too much familiar with singing they just straight up make that idol a rapper. Minho has SOO much talent and potential in singing, and people have to notice it. But he is also a good rapper with really good pronunciation.
This video perfectly summarizes why he's my (one and only) ultimate bias. His personality is much deeper than he wants to show. He's caring, attentive, affectionate, loving, funny, talented, humble, charismatic. Not to mention the fact that he's a cat person exactly like me, and I don't mean "a person who likes cats", I mean "a person that would give their life for these little creatures who are their entire world".

As a new stay, this video is super helpful. I think Minho just plays up the mean character for the camera. He wants to make people laugh so he makes comebacks and is generally more mean for the purpose of being funny. I'm sure he's a sweeter and kinder to the skz when they're not filming and this video is just proof of that.

Bro i feel like crying ! I got into stray kids a little before God's menu era and i swear to god the guide i happened to watch had only the meanho joke and the cats thing about minho *literally* and i was kind of surprised but I didn't care and i just paid attention to Bang Chan who at the time was kind of my bias then God's menu dropped and even though i was so excited for Chan i was really really upset that I didn't get to see Minho at all even though i just got his name to his face and his makeup was so pretty and i just felt so sorry for him, i thought i was just relating to him and feeling bad for him until easy dropped and i fell in love with him real quick ! Something about his calm aura makes me so so comfortable and happy ! Out of all the idols *even my ult Jooheon* Minho is probably the only one i'd feel comfortable talking to in a fansign because i'm kind of shy and idols are usually too bright for me but minho is just so precious and beautiful and he feels just like a random someone out there ! Minho has always been such an inspiration to me. At the beginning of 2019 I wanted to go to an audition so bad, but I fell ill a few days before and had to cancel. It put me in such a dark place and I just wanted to stop caring about everything. I had another performance a week later and wanted to cancel that, too. However, when I went to my vocal practice, I remembered Minho and how he didn't give up after being eliminated and how that just spurred him on to prove that he's worth it and that he's good enough to be part of skz, and that just gave me so much hope. I went to that performance with newfound strength and received so many compliments for my voice from professionals and I'm pretty sure that without Minho, I wouldn't have gone there and would've missed out on this amazing experience that gave me confidence again.🥺 I will always be thankful for him, he means so much to me.❤

Just wanna say that I did call him that when it was the pre-debut era, just because there was only a little information about him other than he was one of the most savage and boldest members. It was somehow (for me) a sensible nickname from that information only. But after a few weeks and more information about him surfaced, I stopped calling him that. He is one of the most caring person I have ever known and does not have any of these 'mean' and 'hoe' traits at all. I don't get why that nickname is still used in recent skz era that this video needs to be existed.

one thing about Lee know is, he doesn't spend money unless it is for a really good cause. Most of us tend to spend a lot for things that we like which sometimes lead to overspending. And most of us would buy unnecessary things but Lee know, his mindset on how he uses his expenses amazed me. He does not take things for granted. A very good example of a true public figure. I'll say something I saw the title and thought who do I have to fight, block or report but I'm glad I clicked. Truthfully when I first learned about Minho I was recommended videos of SKZ teasing him alot lol so I thought he was that one member all the other members picked on. Then I learned about how he was super shy in the beginning until he slowly came out of his shell. I also learned that he's just blunt and honest and gets teased by skz and just learned to be savage back but in a cute brotherly way. Minho is not really a tsundere in my eyes, it's just when you're honest with your emotions and not pretensious people automatically lable you as mean or savage (I can relate). It's honestly one of the things I love most about him especially as an idol who's expected to be perfect (which as we all know is bull). I've noticed Jin from BTS and Soobin form TXT are like that and that's why they and Minho are my biases. Additionally just to finish this long as comment chan has said many times that Minho truly is a sweetheart who cares about everyone around him, so the meanhoe thing has no context cause all of SKZ have their savage moments. Anyway Minho best boy. Hoping new and old stay start to appreciate his talent, personality and just overall Minho himself cause he's amazing.
