Hi bro .. there is a whining noise from my engine and no one is able to figure that out... someone please help
Hope this help, or put you in the right path.
1) If it is coming from the left side( where the sprocket and chain is) maybe it is your magnetic coil. You will hear the noise just before the small sprocket (front one) and below the spark plug. It is in the round cover.
Symptoms; a little whining noise, or like a small bolt being lose.
It does not charge the battery. You may not feel the effects but if you have electrical issues, where you need to push it to start, you will definitely know it is the coil.
2) Another tip that may be useful and may be related, if you hear a small knock side, on top left side of engine ( you may think it is the air filter or curberator or even exhaust manifold type of sound) The sound will grow and grow gradually. You may think it is what I described in brackets since the motor will run and accelerate and the sound will feel seperate. However, it is the camshaft bearing. If you are really unlucky, missed a lot of oil change and have less oil, it can damage the camshaft.
3) Finally, I would really advise to change your spark plugs and oil, and tighten any lose bolts, check every damn one. Also, check the tappet clearance.
I had the same issue, as you. One time it was just a bolt supporting the engine. Today I got back mine. The camshaft bearing was gone.

@@anant3819 No issue. I've had to commute by car for 2 weeks ,having my NS send to the mechanic the last few days. Today I got it back and there is no joy like riding on it again. The most important, it is feeling well 😀 Anyone who is watching content of a similar bike surely has the same love for his/her bike. I dont want a fellow rider to be without his bike. Countries may seperate us,but the passion is the same. Hope this helps you. Try figuring where you are hearing exactly the noise coming from. It will help narrow the issues.
