  • Hear about Sir Lennox Berkeley, his time in Paris, and his near-contemporaries Lili Boulanger and Francis Poulenc.
Berkeley was one of the key contributors to the British musical scene during the twentieth century. His legacy includes chamber, instrumental, choral, operatic and symphonic works.
We have recorded a combination of violin-piano works by all three composers: Berkeley - Violin Sonata No.1, Sonatina, Elegy and Toccata; Boulanger - D'Un Matin de Printemps, Nocturne and Cortège; Poulenc - Sonata for Violin and Piano, Mouvements Perpetuels and Presto.
Our Crowdfunding project aims to cover the costs of venue hire of the Turner SIms Concert Hall, Southampton, and mastering, editing and production of the CDs, as well as live London launch at the Royal Over-Seas League.
