Guys ...if you're still having trouble....I just got a 10 foot USB-C TO USB-C cable to keep my controller plugged in Then went to the settings menu, then accessories, controller, and then switched the "communication method" from Bluetooth to "USE USB CABLE" and it's been perfect!!!! Not ideal if you want to use it wirelessly, but it's been perfect and I don't have to worry about it disconnecting because all these previous options didn't work for me. Hope it helps
Oh no... that's the test I do to make sure the controller is working properly... Is it not coming on at all? Did you hold those buttons down for a good few seconds?
I don’t know if anyone else has this, but I have NO controllers that connect to my PS5 since I brought my controllers to a friends place and now they won’t connect back to my own PS5 does anyone know how to fix this?
Hi rob, so yeah my controller isn't connecting with/without the wire. Hwever, i havent tried the type c to c cable method yet... I wanted to ask you is can we use a generic keyboard to get past the "press Ps button" section and then login to the system...? Secondly what happens after you "Clear Cache and Rebuild Database" option..? N how to naviagte to that 🤔 Sorry for asking too many questions at once.
@@honestrob thanks rob, will try that and update (Scroll Down) Update: the type c to c cable didn't work... Nd yes i completed the power cycle of the console and controller. But.... didn't work. Last option is the keyboard. Then i got take this stuff to a shop. P.S. the amount of frustration around this problem is unreal man. FINAL UPDATE THE KEYBOARD METHOD WORKED FOR ME. All you gotta a do is turn on your console, plug in the keyboard in the front usb port and then get into the sys. Then select accessories, and reconnect the dualsense controller via bluetooth
Idiots will always try and blame someone else for anything they can. If you locked it, it's on you, not basic instructions which are basically the same as Sony suggestions. Kids these days lol
If somehow nothing in this video works, then you can do this 'if all else fails': ruclips.net/video/zTu_oEwnO-o/видео.html 🙂
Guess what? My controller still won’t connect while in safe mode. I’ve tried everything imaginable.
I did another earlier today to get the controller working 'if all else fails'. Hope it helps! ruclips.net/video/zTu_oEwnO-o/видео.html
Me too 😢

Good idea if you don't mind being wired! But great you found a solution and got it fixed! I might do a video on this 'if all else fails' 😀
The last option workedddddd! TQ!😭
Awesome! Glad you got it fixed!! 😀
I’m not getting the strobe flash while holding the PS and share buttons at the same time. What does that mean?

Wow that is a pain, and I hope you get it sorted. Did you try all the methods in the video?
@@honestrob Yeah, I have to get someone from Sony to come and fix it for me, hopefully it works 🤞

You can use a keyboard to connect the controller, I am doing that in a separate video though! Try the C to C, it works often! 🙂

@@AsapNews17 Use the regular one which has USB A cable and connect it to ps5
@@shahrikh1153 I did it still not working
My controller still doesn’t work but worked at GameStop
That's really strange - take it back while you can!
Just use keyboard and mouse go to setttings devices and delete dualsense controller and press screenshot button and ps button and reconnect

Now I’ve locked my console thanks grandpa for nothing!!
Not my fault if you can't follow basic instructions. And these methods are Sony recommendations, so if you have to blame anyone, blame them kiddo
