Some clever tricks used, like with plastic bag to catch shavings and drilling the spool flange. Surprised you didn't use rust protection on he bare metal (bag could have caught potential drips too). If your product was easy to purchase, would certainly consider it.

Does it come with the solid rubber piece for the 2 wires? The 3 rubber pieces in the package look like they’re already drilled for a single hole.

You’ll need to drill the solid rubber piece for a two hole install. I did, worked great, just make sure your holes clear the plastic surround. Use progressively larger bits so the wires fit tight

What AWG solar wire are you using?
    Thanks

    • @IceInMaWeiner
      @IceInMaWeiner 7 месяцев назад

Google wire guage/current chart, the guage depends on the current going through as well as the length of the wire

@@IceInMaWeiner thanks, but I asked two years ago so I would know what AWD fits through the scanstrut.
“Google it” thanks man 😂 two years later… how helpful

I updated with the model number a couple months ago to answer another persons question.
If you are operating this channel/video as a promo for the company 7 months is pretty late for a reply that doesn’t really answer the question

      Hi Nick,
This was not a promo response,
Someone else commented on the video today and therefore I was able to see that you did not get a reply 7 months ago, so thought I would just reply in case you still wanted to know the answer.
I can now see you did manage to find the right product code,
If you need anything please do not hesitate to get in touch,
sorry for not replying sooner :)

Don’t like the way the wires go straight up looks like they can get caught on tree branches or more

      Hello,
      Thank you for your comment,
We do design a range of different Cable Seals,
In this video, the Cable Seal is from our vertical range, and therefore the cable is straight up.
We have a range of Horizontal Cable Seals including our newest which is a Double Horizontal Cable Seal that will lay the cables sideways.
Here is the link in case you wanted to have a look! :)
