Psilocybin has been shown (under fMRI) to allow different parts of your brain that normally don’t communicate, to communicate freely.
In my opinion, this increase in the geometric complexity of our brain’s processing ‘unlocks’ cognitive potential, along with total chaos. Instead of seeing and understanding the world in the manner permitted by our brain’s normal architecture, we may be temporarily unlocking the ability to see more of the universe around us.

Yes, I once could play the piano for 30minutes, hear the music in my head and and comprehend all the modes, theory, intervals, chords, and melodies and play them proper and accurate, it was so "simple" and obvious. I was playing like a seasoned pro, complex 8 finger musical compositions
I know for a fact it wasnt my imagination, I had already been playing guitar for years and 20 years later playing daily, still struggle with quality improvised melodies more complex than single notes due to lacking the mental ability to structure chord tones/ hearing music in my head. After 35 years, Ive had to settle on playing boring predictable blues and 3 chord music that matches my Working Memory and natural cognitive comprehension skills.

One would also hope that a really well guided session can help solidify the neural pathways created. I vaguely remember reading that regular meditation can also help change the structure of the brain.

I started using shrooms in my late teens and continued to use them for decades later. I've literally eaten tons of them. But on one particular trip I took I was with a native American woman who I was married to briefly and she stayed sober while I consumed a massive amount of shrooms and went on a seriously intense trip and on this trip I was given the secret to immorality for our species and even to this day I can remember a lot of it but unfortunately when I came back down to a sober state I couldn't fully explain the intricate details of it and when I asked my wife if she wrote any of it down she said I was speaking a language that she had never heard before. But what I can tell from what I remember is that I saw this globe with latitude and longitude lines and all the lines were bright glowing red lines and the globe itself was just these lines and at each intersecting junction were these simple 3 or 4 words that looked almost exactly like Hebrew letters and each one these points contained a formula that linked to the next segment and so on and so on. And if properly translated would reveal the ability for our DNA to evolve into a state of immorality. I tried many times after that to reach the same level of enlightenment but each time I tried I would just end up having a completely different trip and not getting to that realm again. But I will always strongly believe that mushrooms have the capability to advance our minds and consciousness and DNA to supernatural states of being if used properly and under the right conditions.

Sounds crazy, I've experienced the 'speaking another language' under the influence of psychedelics phenomena and I'm also a sceptical person the kind that you wouldn't expect to try drugs, given my scepticism I would point to my understanding of human psychology and suggest that this 'secret to immorality' could be a delusion and not actually anything solid. The state of being under psychedelics ruins your memory of the event because memory is schematic, it uses identities and associations to find information related to these but identities and associations are lost under ego disillusion.

I've taken psilocybin mushrooms about 7 or 8 times. Its always been a great experience for me. I really do believe that many times I felt some sort of connection with a different type of intelligence or awareness. Like I was partying with the mushrooms. Like I had brought them to life and they were happy to be there with me. I know it sounds mad, but that's what I remember 😄

    • @andyg4929
      @andyg4929 2 года назад +28

Not mad at all. Took shrooms for the first time in 2019, had a handful of lower dose trips, all were fun and eye opening, and "trippy" in the standard sense. Then once in September 2019 I took 7 grams. This was not the magical and viewing the worlds through the lense of a child type experience, no, this was a full on alien cosmic carnival, mind shattering view of what is beyond the veil. And yes, I came in contact with another "intelligence" on that trip. It felt ancient, powerful, and alien for lack of a better word. Its like I knew with complete conviction that what I was experiencing was not from this Earth.

Synchronicity is one of the most interesting effects of psilocybin imo. The new connections made under the influence of psilocybin specifically, but other entheogens as well, facilitate novel pattern recognition. The patterns very often are synchronistic which raises so many metaphysical and philosophical questions about our abilities as humans.

My grandparents are from Finland and settled in the USA in the early 1920s-30s…there are pictures in old photo albums that have pictures with people living in the type of tents shown in this video. And they are dressed the same as well. I had my DNA done recently and it came back 100% Finnish. I have a brother who’s considerably darker than the rest of us. His skin and hair are very dark comparatively speaking and he’s been asked if he’s Native American. However, he has blue eyes.
I don’t know…but there’s something to this family line that is linked to Lapland. There has to be a reason these photos were taken. People didn’t take random photos back then.

I had my first mushroom trip in the summer of 2016, way before learning anything about them, before the joe rogan podcast with Stamets, before hearing about panspermia, before ever really knowing anything beyond they are a psychedelic drug. I'll NEVER forget the message the mushrooms gave to me:
    1. this environment was created for us (it spoke to me directly), this is the home its built for us and biodiversity is the name of the game, providing for us in every single way.
    2. the plants moved in a way that felt like they were telepathically replying to me all my questions, mainly I asked what is the purpose of this? I got that the purpose was not for me but for the continuation of the long game of life. It just wanted to replicate and continue on this wet rock of a planet hurling through space.
    3. the plants then pointed at a nearby bus, spewing exhaust. It made me understand that it was the enemy of it/us, not exactly sure why. Maybe it was disrupting its environment it sought so much to create, or maybe it was the idea of technology itself that it was against. It wanted to me become a warrior for the planet, fighting for the lineage of biological life that I am a part of. Nevertheless, i got a clear message that this was a temporary obstruction, as the shrooms or "life force" work in the span of millions of years, and eventually it would regain equilibrium that it sought so highly to achieve.
I never felt so connected to nature, the idea that we are in a sense related and living in a harsh environment that was deliberately created for millions of years. Ill never forget my first trip and the CLEAR messages that i got. I sound like a lunatic describing it to people but now Im seeing youtube videos and modern scientists speak about these same topics and it really solidifies just how magic and true my experience really was. I had a similar experience on mushrooms up in the mountains once. It seemed like i was in sympathetic resonance with the Earth itself and had an open line to the mind of the planet. It was female and motherly.. I could feel the love she had for every single creature on or inside her almost as if i was her, my feelings could feel her feelings and my thoughts could see her thoughts. She felt hurt by what humanity was doing, not so much to her but to ourselves and her other children. She showed me how we are meant to eventually grow up and leave or depart from her at some future time when humanity will take the journey to seek the "Father". After humans leave the Earth she starts again and gives birth to a new humanity. That is all she does for millions and billions of years. I started crying, laughing and everything in between at the same time. Unforgettable.

All that you remember is that the punchline gave you a great comfort and dropped a huge weight off your shoulders. I wish I could remember to this day what it felt like to come to that realization. Unfortunately, it's been 5 years since I've last had the opportunity. But at least I have those memories of how I learned not to take things so seriously (if I don't wish to).

After a few experiences with DMT I came to the hypotheses that I’m experiencing a type of stimulation overload of senses. Like our brain still has all these old un used sensory receptors from past evolution which is no longer useful for our survival and it turns them all on at once.
Like think about how insects can see in thermal and we didn’t even know what thermal vision was before we made technology to experience it.
I came to this conclusion when I took a big amount of DMT and instead of letting it take me I kept my eyes open, then almost as if I was going blind but instead I see unexplainable patterns taking my vision as if what I was seeing was blocking my view or as is what I was seeing was like the ocean of particles the atmosphere was and I couldn’t no longer tell where anything even behind as if the physical structure of everything melted into a primordial soup.
Then I think what if this is a different view of reality my brain has access to but we don’t experience because it’s not good for survival, because in that state I was completely aware but basically blinded by my own senses.

Likewise since roughly 2018 I’ve witnessed some serious up growth in conversation surrounding consciousness and mushrooms. It’s like watching a movie play out, I had a very strong message early into my psychedelic experiences that others were going to question, discuss and stand back in amazement by some of the same realizations I was happening. And here we are. Reading these comments brings me a joy and sense of comfort that words cannot explain. I had a feeling and that feeling has only been confirmed by a multitude of synchronistic events, the timeline in which friends, shows, media everything but especially friends and people close to me that never discussed or acknowledged anything along these lines before.. it’s just magic man.
Mushrooms are a fundamental part of our growth and I’ll always try to remember the lessons they teach. We are human we change we may forget at times, but those messages those moments in time, are powerful and meaningful. Some of the most full circle moments in brief 20 years of life have all occurred after that first trip. I may have not experienced these things at the time I did had I not been dating the guy I was at the time. Granted we didn’t last and he will forever be a part of me, I’d like to think maybe just maybe that was the reason I met him the reason he was my first, and part of the reason I’ve grown so much since.
Anyways to anyone reading this, I wish you more than well and don’t ever let anyone or anything in this world tell you mushrooms, nature, food that grows from the ground is your enemy. This is our home and fungi is apart of us in a way that is unlike anything else and we need to treat it as such. It’s sacred. Our life here is sacred.

When tripping on mushrooms one may want to keep a notepad and pen handy and go into the experience with specific questions in mind... Like how do we build a hyper-light drive engine or how do we extend human lifespan? The mushroom will show you a shared space where information is stored and may be retrieved. Be polite. Others are there as well asking their own questions and its wise to not disturb them. Trust me on this.

To me, the *origin of human life(in its current advanced form)* had to be a product of genetic manipulation/engineering of DNA by ETs of ancient homosapiens(or other humanoid/ape) combined with the DNA of ET's. Think about it... Humans are just at the beginning stages of DNA manipulation in a multitude of animals, including humans/fetus's (CRISPR). Now imagine how much more advanced in that field we'll be 20 years from now, 50 years from now, 100 years from now, 1000 years from now. Combine that with the fact that we *still* haven't found any "missing link". Combine that with the fact that human brain size and intelligence took an impossible leap to be able to make naturally in an extremely short period of time. Combine that with the fact that, if humans really did evolve naturally on earth, our bodies did a really sh*tty job at adapting to better suite our bodies to the climate(ie we are overly sensitive to weather, our skin burns easily, we lack body hair, our spines can't sufficiently hold our body weight due to higher gravity on earth, we have to cook much of our food, etc... If humans truly did evolve naturally on earth, our bodies physically did a god awful job at doing so. IMO there's just no way humans evolved here in earth... Our current physical form just contradicts the core concept of evolution and the body evolving/adapting to better deal with our environment. Just makes no sense that we are the way we are

I agree. Life on earth is incredibly bizarre. Human life is really weird is all gonna say.

Taking mushrooms wipes the human sense of time. Unlike any other animal, humans record time and create a virtual universe… the virtual universe is our lives, and everything around us. When I take mushrooms it makes me feel literally like an animal in the universe, cause we are, and that’s it. I feel like animals around us understand this too, and humans are stupid. When you look at tv from the 1980’s for example, humans are psychological different with only a 40 year difference, the brain is just growing and growing, shrooms reset that.
