Mother Dolores Hart is adorable, God bless her eternity.
She still public person even being nun.

I sent Mother Dolores a card regarding my abuse by a priest when I was an alter boy. She responded with a beautiful card expressing her concern and some sage advice on how to deal with it. A card I keep and treasure. Much love to her and her service to the Lord.

Mother Dolores OSB, NOT OSD!!! Nice interview...but just "nice" Interviewer asks some dumb questions and demonstrates he didn't do his homework............
I think he does a great job! I enjoyed this interview very much.
God bless her. Walking away from fame in Hollywood was the best move ever. Few people can follow in her footsteps. x
Why on earth is she wearing a beret on top of her veil???
+Althaushexe Her head gets cold. A number of nuns do this when the weather is cold. Remember, they have short hair and the veils are thin.
+Kathy Mark I suppose so - but it still looks strange. However, as far as I'm concerned she can wear whatever she wants, be it a burka, a bikini or nuns' gear. She seems a nice person - that's all that matters. Thank you for your answer.
I don't know if the neuropathy makes her more sensitive to the cold or if it is just aging. She tried a few different hats. Someone finally gave her a beret and that was the one that "worked" for her. A very deep, spiritual person lives under that beret! These interviews don't scratch the surface of who she really is.

I agree with you totally. The above video was the first time I had seen/heard her or heard of her. I have since watched a number of videos and have begun to read her autobiography. I'm glad to have discovered her. Praise be to youtube.
In another video, I learned the cap was a gift from an abbess to keep her head warm.
