Even if it's too late now, you'll find this tip useful for your next series. If you are low level and you need some easy XP, you can craft a few Cooking Pots. Cooking Pot unlocks at level 8 and requires very basic resources (Stone, Flint, Wood, Thatch). 10 Cooking Pots can get you from level 8 to level 15. 10 more Cooking Pots brings you to level 20. Now, if you demolish these 20 Cooking Pots, you'll get resources back to craft 10 more. Then, demolish these 10 and craft 5 more, and so on. After doing this, you'll be level 26. All this, is with XP x1. Your harvest multiplier is x6, so it will be very easy to harvest (it's not x3 as the description says) Sorry for the long message.
