One another difference i can see from Lx1E is L1XRE doesn't have the inbuilt tuner and equalizer. Does that have any affect in tone when you plug in the guitar?
Just bought one the other day. Such a worthwhile purchase, the tone is so lovely and sounds incredible plugged into an amp. Perfect guitar for playing by a camp fire.
Love these Little Martins.....you get so much Martin sound in the perfect couch guitar ! It’s touch as nails and goes with you anywhere. So versatile !
Lovely Looking Guitar, bare in mind HPL can be any decorative colour or pattern and it wont change the sound due to HPL being a plastic base compound(NOT WOOD laminated wood), though all said, it sounds good for a small traveller and I genuinely love the sound of the LX1, LX1E, LX1RE they are all the same materials :)
Ariadna Contreras Hi there! It’s inside the sound hole, there’s no switch for it outside of the guitar. You can control the sounds from the sound hole. Yes it’s a electric acoustic guitar.
Wondering the same thing, and whether or not there are better electric acoustics around for this price, currently using the Yamaha fg800m looking for something to plug in
The little martins are so cool I want one but I dont need one in any way when I play one of these at stores I do find it kinda weird to play with how small it is
You probably played a different version at the store. Mahogany HPL or all HPL, the latter won’t project like a solid top will. I have a mahogany on the way. If I like it, going for this next.
Ye Olde Pirate Hi! The gig bag is pretty well padded, you just have to still be careful no matter where you bring it. It’s about an inch thick for padding. If you’d like to protect it fully, just get a hard case.
The intonation is not as stable as a full size Dread. It goes sharp very very easily when putting a capo on(no matter G7th the adjustable one nor Kyser). That’s why it’s very useful to have the onboard tuner. The tuning is the only issue I experience, but the playability is just great.
BUM KIM it is basically the same guitar but different HPL back and sides, the LX1R has rosewood whereas the LX1 has Mahogany back and sides, the similarity is the Sitka spruce top. In my opinion, the LX1R sounds more balanced, has that bassy tone but sounds very good!!! I love it! I can’t stop playing it! I recommend you checking it out for yourself!
Damn I really want that guitar but you can't find it where I live and even if you could it would be crazy expensive. Dollar is already high compared to Brazilian Real and adding shipping costs (100USD) plus 60% tax on top of that makes it really not worth it :( Wish I knew someone who could bring one for me from the states.
Check my new videos with me using this guitar!

The guitar arrived not requiring any set up is amazing. A standard might be adjusting the action or string height. Frets may be too high etc.
I love it too,I want a New One🥰👍Thanks For unboxing realy nice sound
I just bought a Martin m36 yesterday. Now I want a tiny one as well.
Just bought me one. Thank you! :)
Which one the electric or acoustic
@@btsistrash3252 I bought the acoustic / electric, so it’s both :) paid $499, not too bad. Sounds great when it’s plugged into the amp.

Hey
Can you tell me about the actions on guitar. How much in mm on 12th fret
Hi I have a cuestión where is the video I did not see the guitar pickup in the video is electro acoustic true

Nice video. Though I believe it’s with laminated back and sides with “rosewood” paint.
nice review! this guitar looks awesome
How is playing barre chords up on the higher frets? Too cramped?

It is small, but sounds like a full size guitar!

Damn looks really nice and sounds great too 😍
Gorgeous.
How much
very nice, can you tell me how padded the gig bag is!. thinking about this as a travel practice guitar

Do you recommend buying this?
Price?
How’s the tuning and intonation does it stay in tune well thanks

@@GarryWan666 Since the scale is shorter than even the single 0 martins, I felt is was safe to used heavy gauge strings which hold tuning better.
Is this better than lx1?

Can plug it in too? Thanks🤘🏻
yes!
@@levipickleball thanks you for your response! Planning to buy too. 👌🏻
Total length of this guitar?
How much did you buy?
I'll bet that is peanut butter and jelly up by now
Is it travel guitar?
I can't find lefthanded version
sound s awsome
Does this guitar got standard tuning?
Yes. It’s a real guitar. Ed Sheeran used to play a version of it and I believe Shawn Mendes still does.

hii levi acekerman
It looks like a ukulele
Good guitar good player bad recording gear
Nope. Thought it was an option. Too small for anyone who is over 13.
BS I'm 53 and 4 ft 10 with small hands. That cancels your assumption out as there are many many people of all sizes playing these with no issues
Not electric
Great video!
