The 'King' K. Will who made a huge record for himself last fall with 'You Don't Know Love' is back with his 5th mini-album [One Fine Day].
His title song 'Day 1' creates fun grooves on top of minimal drums and rhythmical piano, guitar and bass. Its warm, unique string lines make the song even better. And K. Will's attractive voice, singing about an average guy wanting to win the heart of his love, brings the song to perfection.

I can't help but feel K.Will has a special connection with this song and not just that he's singing it. In no way do I believe it, but by Korean standards, K.Will is not handsome. But like the lyric says, he looks cute when he smiles, which is completely true.

After so many years, this is still one of the songs that i keep coming back on good days. It makes me feel so cute and loved for all the right reasons. Sometimes, I can be clumsiest and just the "most good-looking among the ugliest" but still, I can try and be loved. Kwill's voice is just so so calming and elating at the same time.

Starring MinWoo and SoYou, a cheesy romantic comedy college drama in which "ugly guy" MinWoo is trying to find a way to confess to his longtime crush SoYou while going through school learning self-acceptance and how to love himself. It's not like MinWoo was a loner or an "ugly" guy or anything. The lyrics say otherwise, and the description does, also.
