Coming from Sydney are the Jacks no good to eat ? I never see anyone keep them.

They are okay, but when you have fairly easy access to some of the best tasting reef fish, you don’t really bother with jacks 😂
Jacks are rated 5/5 for eatinf but are also insanely slow growing. You’d need 2-4 to actually get a decent feed.
Most people sportfish them and prefer to keep a bigger fingermark or barra.
