    Chauncey Billups and Kyle Lowry have very similar career trajectories.
    Bounced around the league first few seasons.
    Eventually found a home.
    Helped bring a championship for the franchise that invested in them.
    Not the most athletic or flashy, but knew how to win and always professional.
    I think both Chauncey and Lowry are overlooked and underrated.
    I hope Billups makes the HoF.

      Honestly, I would induct the entire 2004 Pistons team in the Hall of Fame if for no other reason than the fact that they won that championship in a major UPSET over a team stacked with Hall of Famers. Even though I'm a Spurs fan, it pisses me off to no end that the 2004 Finals factored into a grand total of ZERO Hall of Fame inductions. Yes, Larry Brown is in, but he was already inducted when he won that title.

    My simple criteria for HOF:
    Top 5 NBA for at least 5 years or
    Top 10 NBA for at least 10 years or
    Top 15 NBA for at least 15 years or
    Be the 1-3 best all time at something special (3pt, rebound, or defense for examples)
    Only Bosh and Webber on this list are borderline. Others are not even close.

    If im building a team, Tim Duncan is my guy to build around. A foundation that will keep the team great for 15 years. Lebron is a better player. Kobe is a better scorer. But TD is the greatest foundation for a championship team ever.

    As long as Webber and Wallace get in, Chauncey can get in. Chris Bosh is definitely up there too, but he doesn’t have the single accolades like the previous three mentioned.

      Bosh was an 11 time All-Star with career averages of 19, 8.5 and 2. Was a huge factor in both championships for the Heat and a Gold Medalist. He had more individual accolades than Webber and Billups...

    The only people on that list that I think should be in the HOF are CWebb Bosh Becky Hammon Swin Cash (Who is 1 of my WNBA players ever)
    And Bob Huggins who I think is in the top 10 winningest college coaches of all time

    Billups and Webber deserve it. Billups helped thwart a powerful Lakers team, and was a great floor general, and Webber dominated for so long. Quit penalizing Webber for his sins at Michigan.

      Chris Webber a no brainer? How come? BC of college? He hasn`t really won anything. He had great stats few years, played on a great Kings team, that did not go past a conference final. Thats pretty much it..
      I like C-Webb, but for me he is not a no brainer to go in the Hall. Billups won finals MVP, was a key piece for Detroit having that playoff run past the Lakers.

Webber was great since a rookie, but because of controversial referees he didnt make the finals and win it. Billups was not a better player then Webber. Look at their numbers and respective teams. Situations matter as well.

    The NBA's HOF is prob the easiest to get into. They need to be stricter for it to actually mean something. Just because you were an All-Star a couple of times doesn't mean you can get in. Chris Bosh isn't a HOFer, for example, as good as he was.

      It's the Basketball Hall of Fame, not the NBA Hall of Fame. Yao is in there in good part due to his contributions toward promoting the sport in China (world's most populous nation).

    Three players from that 2002 team on the ballot. One of them has to get in at some point. It would be stunning if a team that had that amount of success did so without a single hall of fame player. Bosh and Becky should have been first ballot locks.

    I think the Detroit Pistons team Chauncey ran with are Hall of Fame calibre butI don't think Chauncey himself is, Ben Wallace arguably was a more dominant force on the court and I wouldn't be putting Chris Bosh in there either.

That fg % is bad enough to get you benched if not released from your team if it goes on long enough. Was he ever considered a top 5-6 point guard when played? No.
      His Career averages 15.2 pts 5.4 assists 2.9 rebs
      He was a solid player but not even close to being a Hall of famer

    Was a fan of Chauncey. He in no way, shape, or form belongs in the Hall Of Fame. It’s not the Hall Of Above Above Average For 4 Years. Not enough accolades. Definitely not in stats. He was a scoring point guard who never averaged 20 ppg. Nope. No. Negative.
