Vindsval started in the nineties with the project Vlad, standing as what i consider the most original (black) metal of its time. He has only exceeded his potential since, and it's amazing to see him return to the influence of his roots/ original era.
Look at that beautiful album artwork. It's such an oxymoron for extreme music like this to be able to speak deeply to people and make them feel peaceful inside. Am I sounding edgy xD
I love Vindsval and everything, but if any formal AOTY was an album intentionally made as a throwback to decades old music, that'd be a little ironic :D
@@Mars-Hell I stand by my comment. Haven't heard anything yet that tops this in 2021. However, I am a simple man. When Vindsval drops an album, I say "This is AOTY." That said, Memoria Vetusta IV could yet be released in 2021...
