super weird issue I've never had before: I did about 5-8 short shots on battery 1, and 8 on battery two. We watched the battery 1 shots in the app after taking them while the drone was in the air so I know it existed at one point, but only the 8 videos from battery 2 are on the SD. Disk drill didn't find them and they're not in editor on GO 4... any ideas?!!! Not sure if the different batteries are important or not
The missing videos might not have been fully saved due to an incomplete file write during the battery swap or an SD card issue. Check the DJI GO 4 app's cache for low-resolution versions of the files. Reinsert Battery 1 and power on the drone to see if the missing footage reappears, as session metadata may be tied to that battery. For future flights, always stop recording before swapping batteries and use a high-quality, drone-compatible SD card.

Quick question about the second part (repairing corrupted DJI drone videos). Can I fix a video if I don’t have a healthy sample?
No, to repair a corrupted video file, you need to upload both the corrupted file and a working video sample.
Hello. My video files are visible, but they won't open or play properly. Is there a way to fix this?
If you have a working sample from the same camera, you can try fixing your video online on repair.cleverfiles.com
Can I recover my DJI footage if it doesn't appear on SD card but it looks like something takes a space on it?
Yes, it might work. I recommend trying Disk Drill.
