Can you share any pictures or video of the Alpha UX Pearl bidet seat's fit on the Kohler Santa Rosa, particularly the overhang of the seat in the front of the toilet? @BidetKing 's article notes that there is a 0.5" overhang, so I'm just wondering how that looks aesthetically.
This is the Pearl on the Kohler Santa Rosa. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking--this is it. It works great. I wish Kohler gave the Santa Rosa an extra 1/4" on the back, but Alpha BIdet fits just right and has not come loose in the last two years.
Ooohhh, tough question. The Pearl seat is a little less comfortable for me, but I think that is almost entirely body shape/geometry, so that will be different for everyone. The Pearl has USER 1 and USER 2 memory functions. This is great for us since my kids like cooler water and I like warmer water in the winter. So, I'm USER 2, and my settings stay "hidden" while they can change the water and seat temp all they want. The USER 1 and 2 is a big win for me. The Pearl has a built in tank purifier. It sounds like a great idea, but it's an ozone generator and that's a no-go for my home, and it stinks. I couldn't find where to disable it in the instructions, but Alpha Bidet told me how to disable it from the remote. I would prefer to clip a wire to disable it, but this is the next best thing. Which would I choose? I liked it so well I left the Pearl mounted after testing. I also kept the JX because we were perhaps getting another home. You cannot go wrong with either one of these. Both are my favorite! Thanks for the question and the encouragement. Please subscribe! I'd love to get to 1000 subs and monetize the channel. Gratefully, Dave
If you watch the video, it's bypassed with the wet wash cloth. Your hand right there under your prostetic would also do it, but just little moisture on a cloth right there does the job. I think you'll love this bidet!
The water supply line should have a valve at the wall. Just look behind your toilet for the water line, then turn the valve off that is sitting just in front of the wall.
@@DavePR is the JX hard to remove if you want to clean under it really good? I've searched everywhere and can't find anyone talking about removing the JX after its on. I'm pretty sure its just the pearl with the easy release. I want one for a round toilet but they don't make the pearl for round for some reason :(. Thanks for any info you can provide Dave!!
@@Josh-tq7jx absolutely easy. These seats are so well designed and overbuilt (self-contained water heater so it NEEDS to be overbuilt) that you'll have no problem maintaining it.
Hey Dave! We're thrilled you love the Alpha UX Pearl and JX =)
Can we get an unboxing of the UX Pearl?
Which do you prefer? This or the Toto C5?
love that its the same bowl even lol
im totally buying one now.

I'm looking at the Alpha UXT (all in one). Anyone know if it will have basically the same functionality?
Dave, Which model do you prefer for the bidet the JX or the newest one UX Pearl? I would love to know before I buy one. Love your videos!!

Thank you Dave. I did subscribe Looking forward to viewing your most recent videos.
How do you bypass the seat sensor. My prosthetic doesn't do it any good

How do you turn off the water before setting everything up?
The water supply line should have a valve at the wall. Just look behind your toilet for the water line, then turn the valve off that is sitting just in front of the wall.
@@DavePR thank you!
Is the seat and lid anti slam and or powered?
Yes, both are anti-slam/soft-close
comparing the alpha jx, is it as strong of a spray. at the high level are they same pressure?
Same pressure, but no final drop when the wand retracts--that's worth the upgrade for us.

@@DavePR awesome! Thank you Dave :). Ordering mine now I can install it by this weekend! Appreciate you getting back to me so fast!
@@DavePR What does "no final drop when the wand retracts" mean? I am considering getting the Alpha JX. Thanks
