I watched Luck, it made me cry on that scene! It's sad people cancel adopting a kid, why? That's so cruel for them. You get their hopes up then cancel the adoption...
Unfortunately, I know of a couple who wanted to adopt. They went through all the paperwork and set up the room and everything. They were eligible for it too, being supportive, happy, and one was a pastor so that could’ve had an impact or something. But anyways, the church for some reason that’s absurd, fired her. Resulting in her needing to move states to get a new job at another church. However, unemployment and moving to another state completely crumbled their chance of adopting the kid they wanted to adopt. They haven’t adopted since. They didn’t cancel the adoption but it’s a similar situation where a kid and the couple both almost got that happy ending, unfortunately it just didn’t work out.
TL;DR
Pastor got fired, moved states for another church job; resulting in her eligibility to adopt crumbing. No child adopted since.😭
Context: She is an orphan and parents kept cancelling on her last minute.
She is now friends with a little girl and the girl is about to get adopted.
Sam ( The girl in the edit) wants the adoption to go well and not like hers.
She then takes a magic cats luck powers by accident, thinking it was a lucky button he had left.
She then realised it has powers and uses it so that she could give to her friend. She goes to wait and accidentally flushes it down the toilet. She then finds the cat and they go on an adventure to get it back.
The girl gets adopted and the parents decide to let Sam live with them
The cat is also living with them.

@@CK-hb8eq I have parents now and a home now but grew up in a orphanage and I got the news that they got in touch with my parents real parents and why I haven’t been posting so hopefully me and the rest of my real siblings will be able to go to our real parents and The parents that I am with haven’t been doing the best for me and my other real siblings and they are hateful and rude to us

My friends adopted, and when my other friend found out she started crying, because she new he had to be in foster care at some point, and I said at least he has a happy supportive home now.

As an adopted child, this breaks my heart in so many ways. I plan to get older and adopt children as well. There’s so many children who have no home and care, why would we continue to have so many more when the kids who are already here get nothing?
