New HVAC Blower Motor Assembly from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1AHCX00145
This video shows how to install a new Blower Motor in your 2001-2007 Volvo V70. The blower motor, and typically integrated fan, is responsible for blowing the heated or cooled air from your heat or AC system into the cabin of your vehicle. A fan could become noisy if it is broken, or could stop spinning all together.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2001 Volvo V70
    2002 Volvo V70
    2003 Volvo V70
    2004 Volvo V70
    2005 Volvo V70
    2006 Volvo V70
    2007 Volvo V70
    Tools you will need:

Thanks so much for this. I relied before on an old video that was badly shot and not very clear. Your is great! Just changed the blower in my car for the second time in 5 years.

I did the blower motor replacement as well and used this video as a guidance. The one thing I did differently to avoid braking the glove compartment door stopping
tab/tabs, like here the left side was, I removed the two hinge pins on the bottom side. And i just unhinged the glove compartment door.
That case no scars being made to your pretty VOLVO. Thanks for the vid

Hi, I’ve watched you replace the blower motor and resistor on the V70. How different is the S80? I’ve got a bad resistor on my blower motor of my 2007 S80. Thank you!

Is that aluminum part under the fan a lovely heat sink for the fan speed resistor ? Nice

Great step by step directions... What was the first hose you pulled off for and purpose if you know. I just changed my blower motor and resistor and there was only 1 hose to blower motor. I had the second one like in the video. I did not have the first hose. I think it was missing. 07 Volvo xc70

Well that looks easier than the struggle I'm having. Didn't see the tabs on the gloves, I just struggled to get the bolts out with the box in the open position!

While you at it, replace the cabin air filter. Good idea to buy a spare glove box strut(it has a tendency to break during removal). If you broke one of the glove box tabs which you were prying off to drop it down, you can use a self tapping screw instead and it will last you for years(you guessed correctly how I know)
