Jax finding Taras body was absolutely gut wrenching.
Honestly the acting Charlie hunnam did in that scene was A+
I was finally relieved that Her character was killed off I found she was manipulative controlling and a spoiled baby. I mean you can see it in certain episodes. I think honestly she ruined the entire series . Don't get me wrong she's a great actress but her character I absolutely hated . I'm sure many felt the same way . Sorry just my opinion
The scene when Tara dies was a TV moment I was completely blown away by. To this day I think it's still one of the most shocking deaths of any TV character I've ever seen.
I LOVED Tara! I was beside myself when Gemma killed her. Tara was the voice of reason on that show.
She was, except the toll the club took on her and her undying love for Jax really made her unreasonable in her thought process
It absolutely broke me seeing her being killed by someone she thought she trusted!
@@ashkeygii9449 Exactly- the first few seasons she was a great voice of reason. But as the series progresses, we witness her mentally and emotionally unraveling entirely
Bobby was the most continuous voice of reason on the show, imo
@@XIsleTheWanderer I agree with that on Bobby as far as the club went. Tara was the voice of reason for life. Yeah, she knew the club was all Jax knew, but Jax welcomed a son into the world first episode and that was supposed to change his outlook on life and Tara was there to try and provide that. She had been down that road and wanted more out of life, though. She tried to see the club vision with Jax, but the reality was that they had begun a family and no matter what you agreed to when you patched in, life changes. My fave moment was Patterson hammering into Jax what Tara tried to do: she said he was a husband and a father before the club and he needed to own his place 💙.
I've loved Maggie Siff ever since Mad Men.
I got to say Tara's dead is the most painful thing I have experience in a tv show, she definitely ground everything is right, and the way they did it, was so violent it broke my heart.
I saw that scene once when it first ran on tv after that I have seen the whole series 3 times but when it got to that Tara's scene I fast forward.
This is a fascinating perspective I'd never really considered before beyond the thought of losing a paycheck. Half the time you're left wondering if they got killed off because they wanted to leave, were forced to or the writers just want to insert a tragedy for dramatic effect, e.g. Game of Thrones.
Which tragedy was inserted for dramatic effect in GoT? Alot of the deaths were in the books already. Especially the Red Wedding.
@@andrewvasquez7872 But plenty was written after the series had already started, which is why some stars found out the hard way they were going to be killed off.
Taras death was an amazing peice of TV, definitely an award worthy scene , jaxs reaction was superb , that soa cast was perfect, thanks maggie

she's an Interesting Actress, I'd gladly hang out with her, I loved Tara on Sons of Anarchy and It was tough to see her go, Gemma Killing Tara was arguably her Downfall and it was devastating
Maggie Siff is Underrated as an Actress and she should break away from TV and get into Films, Maggie Siff should appear in The Marvel Cinematic Universe, I think she should be great as Lady Deathstrike, one of Wolverine's best known foes (I think Maggie Siff needs to be a Villain and she needs to be a bit dark)
and if Charlie Hunnam is The MCU's Wolverine I honestly think it's going to be Interesting, Intriguing and Weird seeing The Actors who played Jax Teller and Tara Knowles fighting, I don't know what The Backstory of Lady Deathstrike is but I think Maggie Siff would KILL The Role of Lady Deathstrike
I always see so much hate towards Tara’s character and I never understood that. She literally wanted the best for her family. She wanted them out of the club and out of harms way. She just wanted to live happily with Jax & her two boys. I loved her.

I really hated Tara in the end but that’s what made her such a good character, I think my biggest problem was that Tara knew what kind of person Jax was and maybe Gemma didn’t do it for the right reasons but she knew who her son was and she knew Tara would slowly grow to resent the life and want to leave. It’s just more so the fact that she tried to fight Gemma on that fact and than it ends up being the main reason she dies. Such a beautiful series!
How can anyone hate Tara? She was being a mother. And she was ultimately validated at the end because Jax got those kids put of Charming.
@@anthonycampos8057 yeah my simple statement after watching a few times is yes she stayed for jax the other reason was simply because everyone told her not to stay with I'm and she hates Gemma the most, they have their moments but Gemma is the person she hates the mots and so she stays also to prove to gemma thatbshe is wrong and it is that in itial choice to stay that makes me hate her because she knew what kind of man Jax was and that he would never change yet she tried knowing her failure would come true and like JAx said in S1, she would simply just runoff when the times get tough. You simply cant chose the life and than get mad cause everything goes to shit, you marry or date an outlaw, getready to deal with the consequences and simply Tara believe she could handle it but everyone else knew she couldn't, SHe mad a choice and then became a rate when time got tough, SHes pathetic but an amazing actor.
@@anthonycampos8057 also seems like you really hadn’t watched the show cause the who intenet of jax moving out of gun running was to have a life his children wouldn’t have to be afraid or run from. Had she given jax more time at the very end the SOA was out of crime and self sustaining. All Tara had to do was seriously trust, believe and wait, had she, she would be alive. jax hated Gun running and wanted to bring the club back to what his father had wanted, even till the end, you must be a noobs and haven’t analyzed enough cause these are things that need to be taken into account.
