The Hammond SK Pro series advances and refines the SK concept of lightweight stage keyboards with just the right mix of features for any player or genre, bringing unprecedented tonal versatility and functionality combined with logical realtime controls. SK Pro's four sound engines - including an expanded drawbar organ section derived from the XK-5, Piano section, Ensemble section, and Mono Synth section - can be used individually or in any combination, while a large color display provides essential information at a glance. SK Pro also features multiple assignable outputs with discrete rotary and organ pedal (bass) outputs, USB-to-device and USB-to-host ports for storage and MIDI-over-USB, and an 11-pin Leslie connection.

Thanks for this. I have an SK pro 73 and I love it. I had an SK 61 which got damaged from negligence and moved up and glad I moved up. But I’m really enjoying this hearing this professional, pushing the capacity of this amazing instrument. I’ve been messing with multiple voices or instruments with interesting effects because of the four engines of sound.
FINALLY not just jazz demo
Thank you for your guidance!
Awesome organ and piano sounds from the godfather of organs.
Fantastico sonido y muy buena combinación. Hammond es único !!!
I decided to purchase after watching this video❤
Outstanding keyboard player
Some quick fingers here!
amazing player, amazing instruments
Killer player
My prediction is that players will complain about the allocate buttons being too close to the keys, getting accidentally bumped, unintentionally changing sounds during those heavy solo moments with big glisses, etc. But, generally sounds pretty good
Yes I own the Nord electro 6d. I was accidentally pressing the delay button when I was doing a piano solo Haha
@@ericrobert5296 I played this instrument and I’ve never had that issue. But I recommend even though professional say it’s OK that you consider using a pedal for the Leslie and not rely on the button which is not that accessible.
Any suggestions on the best keyboard amp which is not a Leslie to project organ and piano sounds?? Roland??
My thoughts:
1. For some reason still today in 2024, many so called keyboard amps, tend to have anything but a flat frequency response, and rather sound pretty boxy/muddy, which might be a bit cool for Rhodes sounds, and possibly Hammond, but terrible for anything else, especially for acoustic piano. I would also say, and many many people agree, that Roland keyboard amps are among the worst sounding.
2. Very few stage pianos and synths have acoustic pianos piano soundsthat are actually sampled in mono, and this means that in order to get a moni output that the left and right channel of the stereo sample has to be summed, which will introduce a lot of artifacts to the piano sound, ans trust me - that is not something you want
So, what to do then? Get a *pair* of active PA speakers. There are loads of options here, but unless you plan to spend less than €300 for the pair, it's not likely that you will go wrong. The most popular brand of active speakers often used with keyboards might be QSC, EV, Yamaha, JBL and Bose, but even a pair of Behringer probably works fine as well. I myself have used a pair of 8" EV ZXA1-90B, for almost ten years. Couldn't be happier 😊 not the cheapest (I think about €500 a piece), but har from the most expensive ones either.
On the other hand if it's for home use, you should look at active studio monitors instead, and again here's also loads of options - KRK, JBL, Yamaha, and Genelec, just to name a few
Hope this helps!
Thank you. Great ideas. Appreciate it.
I have been using a Roland KC350 for years, absolutely no complaints. I prefer using the KC than using my DBR15s

Well, it all comes down to personal taste and preferences in the end 🙂
I was using a Roland amp and a bass amp with my keyboards, which was flat and I got a bag rack mounted tube premix to improve specially on the piano sound and then I found the space station by Aspen and I got the smaller one, and I have just been enjoying this amplifier. It is a stereo app working in a very unique way and it’s loud enough to punch through a rock band at the smaller size.
It’s just under Granite Sweetwater, but you may want to check it out at Kraft. That’s where I got my SK 73 which is a joy.
You can give me this 😄

Hello , someone help me 👇
Wich one is better yamaha dgx 670 and yamaha p125 ?
Depends what you need it for. What will you mainly be doing?
DGX 670 is much better than p125.
The quality of the DGX is excellent and It has infinite funcions. Well, I'm gonna buy the DGX 670 next month.
forget the rice, get a Sweden hand made gem
What is with the tape on the knobs of the stand?
Hammond needs to make b3 portable with 100 best b3 presets no body get even close to Hammond sounds “
They already have.
@bobcat baldfat drunkbeater Hammond Zusuki is still going on.
Vb3 vst is amazing
The piano sound like the motif xf
No!!! XF MUITO SUPERIOR
That hammond sk pro sound like a electric piano. I would like to hear the organ side of it, draw bars ,leslie and pre set sounds.i saw a previous demo and I was impress then, then was thinking I might get one.cant hear any B 3 pre set sound
Huh, the first sounds are B3 sounds
I bought one and was bitterly disappointed with the poor piano sounds. The Organ didn't sound as good as my SK-1, so I bought that. Organ didn't have as much punch on this pro. Be aware. Good luck.
A cute caricature of Hammond, a nice toy. Nothing serious, except the price of course ;)
😂 great but how about wooly bully watch it now
Hammond now have an excellent sound engine to their name in the form of the B-3X app. Yet they continue to sell organs like this SK Pro based on the ancient and awful sounding VASE technology. It’s quite odd. If they put the B-3X engine in an organ with a layout and ergonomics comparable to the Viscount Legend or Cromarty Mojo, then they would truly be king, it would be game over. I just don’t get it.
marketing shit
At last no talking
The ep sounds on this are embarrassing.
I bought one of these and ended up returning it. All the pianos did not sound good. The organ was disappointing, so I bought another SK-1.
@@garys8990 I am about to get one, went to the shop had a listen and it didn't sound like the youtube sound. They said it's all about the settings. So I asked them so why don't you set it right at the store as that's your selling point? No Answer. So I'm thinking of sticking to my midi and $149.00 B3 sound from native Instruments for now.
@@garys8990 So don't "upgrade" from the sk1? i was hoping the display and internal leslie would be the only difference
Don't listen to Gary, he posts the same ignorant drivel on every video. Nothing but a joke/troll. Bonners UK has the best review of this instrument last time I checked on YT and he's fairly responsive to questions. It's vastly superior to the SK1 in feature and sound reproduction. Piano is not what you buy a hammond for specifically and that should be plainly obvious. I pair it with other boards, as I did with the earlier SK. Apply a little brainpower at least. The Pro was improved from the Sk1 with the aid of hundreds of practising professionals. Of course it isn't inferior in any shape or form. If Gary even had the brain to use one, I'd be extremely surprised.
my crumar mojo 61 as a B3 CLONE sounds much better
only the acoustic piano is better in sk pro
nah!
Dua kabel suara, satu kabel listrik, satu lagi kabel apa ya
Damper pedal
If I have 5 thousand dollars I buy it for sure . But I can dream of it , its free .
Nice played. The sound doesn’t convince me. Sounds like a home organ. It is useful to tweak the organ first, before demonstrating. Or is this the sound of the instrument?
In a house system at church etc this keyboard is amazing
sorry but the B3 sound is not convincing enough, Crumar 61 and Viscount legand are better in this department. only the acoustic piano is better on the sk pro..
Truth
I disagree.
I owned a Mojo, and it’s a fine organ, has a great Rhodes but the SK Pro has the superior organ IMHO!
The sounds sound a bit thin
youtube compression
Well, it's no Farfisa.
musically not one of the best demos on a hammond
The Pro is a big disappointment. I bought one and returned it. The worst Hammond I've owned and cannot recommend this keyboard.
@@garys8990 Whats your thoughts on original SK 88 keys model!?!
I've always thought Hammonds were ironic. They're so expensive for how cheesy they sound, and they're so classy for how low-tech they sound.
Roland vr is way cheaper
I can hear why.
And it sounds way cheaper
The VR-730 is very competitive with keyboards costing twice as much, do a blind test comparison with Nord, Hammond and you will be surprised, except for the piano sound which is really of lower quality
