- It's the third Saturday in October and that means one thing.. Alabama vs Tennessee! The annual rivalry was under the lights (literally) this year and several upsets happened across the country. FunnyMaine has the recap!

The thing I took away from this game is that Alabama is not as good as we thought they were and Tennessee is not as bad as we thought they were.
The thing I took away was that without Tua, Alabama struggles. As for Tennessee the thing I took away is that Jarrett should never start again, he clearly went rouge on his coach and got punished (deservingly) for it
I, personally, read it as Bama players saw Tennessee as the world sees them -- worst team in the SEC. They played sloppy and loose. Tennessee played cheap and dirty, going for hard hits and injuries because that was their only shot. We dont have enough reps on Mac, to be sure, but with a week here against another patsy SEC team he'll look much better.

Even though I'm a Ohio State fan, I truly hope Tua gets better here soon so that he doesn't miss out on the LSU game because if he does than I know Alabama needs to do something to keep themselves at #1 and not drop. But I know I'm looking forward to see the LSU vs Alabama match up with Joe Burrow playing at an Elite mode and I was more surprise to see Wisconsin lose to where they truly did pull a Ohio State thing like Ohio State did for the pass 2 years. UT fan here, closest Bama game in awhile. This rivalry is way more fun when it’s competitive. Tennessee is extremely young, only starting about six seniors. Next year in Knoxville could be fun.

Tua is gonna be fine everyone, and so is the team. And people, dont jump on the hate wagon about Mac Jones. He has been the backup for the best 2 QBs in the country the last 2 years, every other QB in America would be their backups. Mac Jones,if yall remember correctly, he had 271 yds, 2 tds, 1 int in the ADay game. Yes, I know, it was the A day game. But still, it showes he cam throw to these revievers. He came into the game last night unexpectedly ,so my only knock on Jones is that he should have been prepared. He was rusty, and it showed. He was overwhelmed and it showed. But as he played a bit more, he slowly started to throw better passes. Then the receivers and a couple passes to Harris were dropped throws. The offensive line has been working with a lefty QB all season, and the starters have dealt with him last season. My point is that a lefty,and a righy QB have an opposite blindside. So when you throw a second string QB in that's behind a lefty, the O line has to adjust to protect his blindside. And give Tennessee credit,because they came to play. And they played very hard. And the UT coaching staff did well too. Pruitt just might be the guy for them. But not treating his players like he did that QB. Yelling at him is one thing, getting on his ass, that's fine, but leave it at that, dont go and jerk his helmet off when the boy was trying to make a play, that you and your staff called. Yes he didnt run it correctly that's why you teach em. Anyway, If we going to have a reason to criticize Jones, then wait till after the Arkansas game. Let's see what he does in his first career start. We may just be blown away with greatness, or not lol. ROLL TIDE!

It's so weird cause 35-13 did not feel like the score...I honestly thought when tennessee got that field goal after half time tennessee was gonna beat us but I believe tennessee is gonna get a couple more wins they looked pretty good past two weeks.
Worm Bizzle If TN would have punched it in instead of fumbled on 4th and goal at the 1 it would have been 28-20 but I still think Bama would have won. The energy in that stadium is crazy and Bama’s defense was getting better as the game went on. If TN was a more disciplined team we may have won but that’s just not the case. Good game Bama. I didn't expect my Vols to win. I wanted it sure. But didn't expect it. I just wanted to see progress as a team and make it somewhat of a game instead of an embarrassment. I was hoping for at least 10 points by half (happened) and at least 20 by the end f the game. I'll settle for what we did get however. I saw plays coming together, catches being made, the defense stepping up and making key stops, better coaching (laughed the whole time Pruitt called time out! That's SUCH a Saban thing to do. That was hilarious). But still lots of work to be done. Communication, discipline, strength and conditioning and just not falling apart in the red zone. But all in all I was pleasantly surprised by the Vols. Congrats Bama nation. I won't say roll tide but I will say ya'll got a heck of a program. Enjoy it while it lasts. You could be the next Tennessee after Saban leaves/retires lol. #sportmanship

As a Tennessee fan, I can honestly say they played with heart. It was a good game, and it was closer than ANYONE thought it would be. I saw promising things from the last two weeks. Still not over loosing to George Sate...and BYU, but.... Go Vols
Yeah, as a Bama fan, I will say Tennessee has good things on the horizon. Lots of struggles, dumb penalties but you can see there is a kernel of something there. Pruitt really seems to be changing the culture. I don't like the big orange but I want this rivalry to mean something again. I could see snippets of that in last night's game. And I hate pumpkins.

I turned on Subtitles to watch this, and when you did the intro for the video, the subtitles read, "I remember them playing Fanny I'm a downtown man I'm Anna now yeah." I guess it sort of sounds like what you're saying if you say it slow, but not at all close to what you actually were saying. RUclips needs to do a better job with subtitiles for videos.
