- In this video we will see how to make white kurma recipe in tamil. White Kurma / Vellai Kurma is an excellent gravy for chapathi or idli or parotta. This is a Hotel style veg kurma which incorporates all the goodness of vegetables in a coconut paste. The addition of nuts and coconut paste adds richness to the veg kurma while mellowing the taste. This results in a smooth and delicious kurma which is not spicy. The addition of whole garam masala spices adds to the aroma of the vellai kurma.
