Ok... THIS is the one I was looking for. This has been popping up in my head for years and years. I didn't know the title, and I didn't know the artist. (I never paid much attention to artist names when I was a young boy; I guess I never cared because I was just in love with the music and that was all that mattered at the time). I worked in a warehouse about 6 months ago where one of the guys used to play a lot of reggae over the system between 5 and 6am when we were preparing stock for deliveries. The Dennis Brown version of this was playing one morning and my jaw dropped. I stopped everything and went and asked about the song (didn't know it was Dennis brown). Then I made a mental note to search for it when I got home later that day; but I forgot to do so. Just today the song popped into my head again and I Googled it and realized I remember a different version. I just decided to search again and this is the one... So many memories. I was about 8 years old when this came out; both happy and sad memories from this; full of nostalgia. Thanks for uploading.
The arrangement by the Studio One band is exceptional considering the equipment's available at the time , brilliant guitar work, this is what musicianship is about , a fantastic track , one of my favorite tunes of all times , no question whatsoever. immortal and timeless quality NEVER fade.
