    Is far better this POV camera than a 360 one. Keep driving safe bro!

      Thanks Nick. I like trying to explain what's going on overall so those that are newer to racing understand how much is really going on besides just physically driving.

    Man you are really smooth. I’m working on not sliding in the corners too much. You seam to manage the throttle really well. I’m working on it but hoping to get better. I like the commentary on this video. Thanks for sharing

      You're already fast, you just need more time getting dialed in with your kart and getting used to it. We're going to have lots of fun!

    Its really good to see the VLR matching the KA100, i was under the impression the KA was a smidge faster. Good lines and great times towards the end, your fitness is doing well and lap times are now consistent from L1 to finish.

    • @IllegalAlienRacing
      @IllegalAlienRacing  3 года назад

      I actually bought a KA100 engine and this is my first race in it. I'm a bit heavier compared to most of my competition so the KA is a better fit for me. Nick and some others are just as fast in their VLRs.

    That’s was awesome 😎 very consistent and 9 laps sub 57! You’d have to be happy with that. Have you done a post on the maintenance you do after a meeting? People might also find that interesting.
    As usual I will look forward to the next post. Thanks for the time and effort you put in for our enjoyment

    Do you have any tips for trusting the guy in front of you and not braking into corners that you don’t brake in? And what is your number in each class? And I’m from Colorado.

    • @JustinMusicRacing
      @JustinMusicRacing 3 года назад +1

      I struggled with this really badly, there’s not really a trick but you just have to believe that they brake where you brake and just trust the kart that’s it’s gonna stop in time

    • @Toadashin
      @Toadashin 3 года назад

      @@JustinMusicRacing thank you!!! And do you race in the CKT? If yes, I’m the FA kart in Junior 1 that’s number 2

    • @IllegalAlienRacing
      @IllegalAlienRacing  3 года назад +1

      I'm still learning how to manage this. It takes practice because some drivers do different things in different corners. I tend to roll off the throttle just a tad sooner entering a corner when I'm behind someone but I usually get to get on the throttle sooner too. Just keep working and figuring it out.

    Have a quick question if you don’t mind, I’m 6’3” at 270 lbs…. Am I too tall n fat to race karts competitively?

    • @IllegalAlienRacing
      @IllegalAlienRacing  2 года назад +1

      Tall no, but you’re definitely going to be at a disadvantage with the additional weight. Doesn’t mean you can’t do it though.
