Your microphone is great. New here - I'll subscribe. I was a single mom and we were very poor. I did all the frugal tricks and we thrived on little. Back then I could not afford quality meat, so we mostly ate vegan out of necessity. I'd rather be vegan (or almost vegan) than eat low-quality animal products. I've been canning for about 30 years ..... pressure canning is an essential tool!!! We have our own beef but still have to buy from a friend while purs is growing. They do grass fed grass finished all on native grasses. It's wonderful. We always have big canning sessions whenever we buy a steer or butcher one of pur own sheep, goats, chickens. Canned beef is my favorite. 😊 I have a nice herb garden for food and medicinal uses. I dehydrate some, freeze dry some, and distill some for homemade essential oils (I only make 4 or 5 of my own essential oils so far - it takes a lot of herb to make a little oil, so I need to expand my gardens). I love Azure's bulk dish soap and laundry powder. :) But I make all my own body soap and many other bodycare things. Bulk buying is essential for anyone. ❤ Ok. Back to work for me.
Wow, that was the most inspirational comment I’ve ever had. Good job, you’re super Mom. I don’t know how you get all that done. Canned meat is something I wanted to try for a really long time, but that I am actually really scared of. I’ve can’t Chili before and it’s still standing there cause I’m worried about opening it. Thank you for such a wonderful comment I love to get to know the people that watch my videos
@kingdomrootedmama don't be scared ❤️ If you follow proper procedure, it will be fine!! I'm in SW MO ... if we're near each other I wouldn't mind helping you can a load to get the hang of it.
love your videos. What bulk soap do you buy from Azure? Also, I love your dress in this video and the tan one in the Azure video haul. I would love to have your recipe you made in the instant pot. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Rachel. You literally made my day. Okay so for the soap I buy the AZURE clean fragrance free. I really like it I have been using it for a few years now. Okay so for the soup I literally was just making up as I go. I just added chicken breast on the bottom, diced tomatoes, canned beans, corn and some broth and just simple seasoning then I added a pack of cream cheese. The cream cheese didn’t dissolve as good as I wanted it to kind of had chunks at the end, which was fine. We topped it with some lime, cilantro, and some cheese and sour cream.
