I don't recommend upgrading Porter troops for the late game...Because during KVK or KE Porter will be attacked first. Those of us who have Might over 40 million at least 150K T1 porters and over 100k T5 porters just for the tribe resource farm.
T1 Porter is very cheap to heal.
T5 will not be attacked because the tribe resource farm cannot be attacked.

Edit: I Saw Promoting While I Unlocked T2, But Now I Saw. It is Useful Now. Less Resources & Time To Promote.
Same Time & Same Resources. So There is No Point To Upgrade Troops. I Didn't Promote A Single Troop Till Now.

I also believe we should only start promoting troops when you are at about t3 or t4 or higher as low level promotions are quite useless

Actully by promoting t1 troops to t2 it will be easier to get t3 troops by promoting

Also t4 troops wil requre lots of resources and trust me I have been playing since it was published and now my dad works behind the sceens

I believe everyone only needs to promote troops while preparing for KVK as if we get attacked we dont want t1 and t2 troops taking up our infimary space
