I really enjoyed watching this video I have the 9050 I was actually going to get the 9080 in till I seen the torque channel and I decided to just go ahead and get the 9050 since they were so close and I like the fact that the 9050 was a lot smaller with the same torque spec and now I see this one this would be perfect for interior work removing seats and stuff underneath the vehicle and whatever that don’t get off I know the 9050 will take off whatever the 9038 won’t I appreciate you making this video of this tool and action we need more of this it’s very rare to see tools in action usually all you see is reviews and talking about the tool but no action or very little
I appreciate you taking the time to leave a comment. Yessir no doubt the ct9050 is a powerhouse of its own. It’s a very capable gun with loads of power and I feel like having a ct9038 alongside doubles as a dynamic duo. I’ll keep posting more of the ct9038 in action! It’s packs a punch that can let it be a standalone gun for most techs, perfect for side jobs or projects.
great choice on the 9050. i had the 9075 and my coworker still has a 9080. i traded mine in for a power blue 9050 and it’s surprisingly stronger. my coworker constantly borrows my 9050 to get things his 9080 won’t. so i’m hoping that’s how this is in terms of 9010 -> 9038
This tool is extremely impressive! The jobs it's handling like Semi U bolts frame bolts torque arms shocks. Good weight to it not hard on the wrist. My 9 year old daughter uses it for tire rotations. Worth ever penny.
This tool doesn’t mess around. Obviously this is on the extreme side of the spectrum for using it to remove wheel bearings axle shaft nuts. It’s just downright impressive. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Great video content its always better to see the tool in real life action and daily use. Im hoping they come out with a 1/2 inch anvil that would be nice.
Instead of fixing my older 3/8 M18 2754 Milwaukee sent me a new M18 Compact. Pretty nice of them, but I never really use it. My M12 3/8 Stubby is my workhorse it'has the same power as the Compact, but smaller and way lighter plus I can break it down even smaller using the Torpedo style🔋to get into some tight places. My Gen 2 Midtorque feels the same in weight/footprint as the compact so I reach for that if the stubby runs into something it can't break free. I have no need for this new Snap On, but it looks pretty cool with those specs it should be top dog in power in the 18V Stubby/Compact wars😂👍🏻
Funny thing is I’m not a tool snob but I like quality and Milwaukee hasn’t let me down yet but Snapon does and has (except cordless ratchets) mind you not a fanboy of any kind but I can say something they actually caught up with but for how long and for the price tag, No thanx. But to each his own. S.N. I don’t know what all the rant is about MILWAUKEE against everybody else. Must be something bout them and for one I can say is it’s power for me but warranty not so much for I have never had to warranty none except one that was a dud outta box so returned for a new one idk if that’s considered a warranty. But outta over a dozen of there tools aside their sockets and couple of new flexhead ratchets I and many others would have to say that they speak for themselves.
Been waiting for some of the tool review channels to show this tools. Starting to think they say this impact shit on milwaukee and have decided not to post a review lol
@robertocruz1177 I feel your pain. Ultimately I use the snap on products at work due to simplicity at work with my other tools. The dealer always takes care of me as well so that’s an added bonus. I’ve had issues in the past with getting my Milwaukee 1/2 fixed. Personally for the 18v tools I prefer the snap on design as well because the batteries don’t bounce around in their housing and cause contact issues. Again this is a problem I’ve encountered with my Milwaukee 1/2
It’s really simple… pick your tool and brand and be happy… I never understood the so called tool wars, each product by the multitude of companies just show why the free market works. You pay for what you want and like regardless as to what someone else wants or like. We have choices and freedom to like one product over another as a preference…..I like Milwaukee and my buddy likes Snapon…. Now since we both happy with our tools…..let’s get over here and get the engine tore out and rebuilt🔥💯
looks like about $100 more. The Milwaukee 3/8 goes for around 250-320 depending on the dealer. Snap on right around 400 on the website. Usually stuff is a little cheaper on the truck. Nice try though.
Man oh man. These damn snap on vs Milwaukee vs dewalt vs the whole world needs to chill 😂😂😂. It’s tool and if it does the job then end of story. If you gotta save money go non tooltruck. If you got money to spend then go snap on etc.
I was primarily using it on lugs for video sake, but since then I have acquired a torque stick for a 3/8 at 60 foot pounds for further testing. The gun works really well with lugs at a 19mm or 3/4 inch size. I personally only own sunex thin wall 3/8 impact sockets so I would imagine that a thicker socket would allow for a harder impact with lug sized above the ones I listed. Again in my use so far this has proven to be a great tool to have if you can only have one electrical impact to use.
I cannot justify 4 times the cost with less than half the warranty. I’ll stay with the other red team, besides this isn’t powerful enough to deal with what I have. Rusty ol brake chambers sometimes I need my 1/2 Milwaukee but usually my full size mid torque m18 gets the job done. I work on trash trucks. Mostly Mack trucks- I stay away from Peter built given it’s like dealing with a red headed woman on her monthly. Oops. Am I gonna be cancelled?
The problem is they put out garbage power tools for the last decade. I own several examples of their failures. Now they have a decent tool and every snap on dealer on social media has a comparison video to Milwaukee and they can’t even do that right. Every video has the Milwaukee with the 2.5 amp hour battery vs the snap on with an 5.0.And in one video I seen they are running the Milwaukee in foward. No thanks. I’m buying the gen 3 Milwaukee impacts with the new batteries. Milwaukee has been a proven winner for me.
That’s a very valid point. I agree the marketing could have been better. I’m sure a high torque 3/8 Milwaukee would be a good competitor for the new snap on tool as well.
No matter what you say i still considered Milwaukee the best deal because it offers better warranty better prices and at a time like this who can afford to spend an extra 60-70% higher price than Milwaukee? Nobody.

There is a huge difference between this stubby 3/8 and the full size 3/8. I’ve been happy with it since!
Just got one of these today. Things a little beast!!
Congratulations on the purchase!

You’re telling me that little 3/8 takes off semi( class 8) u bolt nuts?? ?? So 1 1/8 socket on a 3/8 impact ??
On the wheel bearing there around 8:25 with the straight socket and the extension it did start to move, that’s pretty impressive
This tool doesn’t mess around. Obviously this is on the extreme side of the spectrum for using it to remove wheel bearings axle shaft nuts. It’s just downright impressive. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
Just purchased one last week and im very impressed.. for the size of the impact it has crazy power.
They really did their homework on this one!
@@DharTV yes they did !! I've been using it daily over my 861. Snap-on is finally catching up and putting out some awesome cordless tools
This was a awesome video
That looks like a Milwaukee stubby dressed up with Snap On shell
Great video content its always better to see the tool in real life action and daily use. Im hoping they come out with a 1/2 inch anvil that would be nice.
I cant wait until my dealer gets them in

Waiting for the Milwaukee guys to chime in…

I’m stuck between worlds. At work I use Snap and Milwaukee at home. I love both 😫

Only problem is a snap on impact is probably 4x as much as a Milwaukee,or dewalt

I wanna say snap on went after the dewalt stubby 20v and Milwaukee 18v with this one cause all 3 of them are similar
Man oh man. These damn snap on vs Milwaukee vs dewalt vs the whole world needs to chill 😂😂😂. It’s tool and if it does the job then end of story. If you gotta save money go non tooltruck. If you got money to spend then go snap on etc.
Just got my self the stubby today from my local dealer....
Congratulations on the purchase. I hope it works well for you!
Great demo. Now I'm ready to throw away my dewalt cordless gun.
Do you always use it for lugs or is that just for the video.
I was primarily using it on lugs for video sake, but since then I have acquired a torque stick for a 3/8 at 60 foot pounds for further testing. Just got mine today. :)
Id rather not sell my kidney for a impact wrench. My m12 takes lug nuts off fast as fuck.

what the hell; it do almost the job of 9050
You need to get a go pro and tripod it or mount it will make for a better video but yeah I have that tool it’s a f#%kin beast!
Noted I will try to have some tripod footage!
