Interpol ha acompañado mis momentos más profundos hasta ahora, algunas veces me deprime más! Y otras me anima mejor que nada. No obstante, es esa chispa la que me motiva a escucharlos. Este álbum es increíble, me hice adicto a varias canciones, cómo los amo, cómo los quiero, cómo le hicieron para llegar a este nivel!?
Si algo caracteriza a los álbumes de Interpol son las canciones de cierre y esta no se queda atrás. Entre los vocales, batería, guitarra hacen de esta canción un cierre melancólico en increíble para el álbum.

Come dicevo, è stato Daniel a scrivere le progressioni di accordi nella prima fase di scrittura delle canzoni e quando ci inviava queste prime bozze via mail usava dei working title. Alcuni sono diventati poi i titoli definitivi, vedi Obstacle 1. Questa di cui stiamo parlando l’aveva intitolata Palermo e mi piaceva, però al tempo stesso ci tenevo a conservare nel titolo anche quel “go easy” che c’è nel testo del brano, perché mi sembrava importante. Così abbiamo optato per Go Easy (Palermo) e via. Però io non l’ho mai vista Palermo. Anche se amo l’Italia. Sono stato a Roma, Bologna, Trieste, Milano, Firenze, sia in tour con gli Interpol, sia per i fatti miei. A Firenze ci sono stato di recente, tra l’altro: stupenda.

Can't believe even Paramore, Editors, bands that were after Interpol create music art and are still active and Interpol is dead on the water thinking that composing whatever fall on their lap it's gonna be good, as much as I love Interpol since Turn On,.. They have to stop. part ways for 20 years and when they hungry and see their bank accounts are in zero, then... they come back together and create something meaningful, a trace of Leif Erikkson thing, even Not Even Jail or Pace is the Trick, this album is just a total waste of time, it's crap. They don't work, they think they can last by whatever they realease... Sad.. just sad
Meh.. another "easy" release from Interpol. There's no energy and no creativity.. every song is basically the same, and I can't even tell them apart. How sad. It's like they aren't even trying..
Which makes this album their most consistent in a while. Who wants songs all over the place with different vibes? An album usually has a pretty cohesive sound.
