- Hello guys ♥️ Summer is going pretty hard these days in Greece with the heatwaves so we stay inside as much as possible-of course I, as a homebody, have no problem with that 😁 In this video I made the most flavorful fried meatballs that is everyone's favorite and a unique Greek salad called Dakos, a perfectly delicious dinner 😋 We also went for a day trip in Evia island to see the church of St John the Russian that is know for healing the sick ♥️ Please relax and enjoy my vlog about the everyday life as greeks! Also I’ll try to upload weekly again ♥️

Oh my gosh that Dakos salad looked so delicious, all those textures! 🥗✨ And your daytrip looked like so much fun! That church is absolutely beautiful on the inside and that food at the restaurant... the fried fish made me so hungry 😍🐟

Rusks alone (the ones I showed) are bland and bready so the perfect canvas for this flavourful salad to top it off ♥️
Wow, I cant express how much I appreciate this! I was so lucky that youtube suggested me this video! My father is from a village in Evia but I havent been able to visit in many years, so this was especially dear for me to watch!! Those keftedes and potatoes and saltsa wow, lucky husband to have you as s cook! And Dakos looks great and with such tomatoes! I have only eaten Dakos once, many years ago! I feel that I somehow even recognize your dish, the one that you used for the keftedes and for the collage cheese wrap in another video, it seems familiar😅! Perhaps I have seen it like in Galaxias many years ago or something! Thank you for sharing another great and warm video! Oh by the way, dont think I have ever had keftedes with ouzo, interesting! Not sure I have had them made with vinegar either! ❤️🖐

Λοιπόν είσαι φοβερή μαγείρισα, σπάνιο για κορίτσια της ηλικίας σου..Την ίδια συνταγή για κεφτεδάκια κάνουμε, με μόνη διαφορά οτι βάζω 200 χοιρινό κιμά στο κιλό… Ωστόσο το ούζο πρώτη φορά το συναντώ, θα το προσθέσω οπωσδήποτε 😊
Ευχαριστω παρα πολυ!! Το ούζο το εχω ‘’κλέψει’’ από τον πεθερό μου και οντως του ειναι πολυ ωραιο! Συνήθως το βάζουν οι νησιώτες από ο,τι εχω ψάξει ♥️
12:54 This is what I always recommend to tourists: WE DO NOT SEPARATE THE SALAD FROM ITS PLATE, everyone takes whatever vegetable they prefer from the same plate and this shows that the family or friends are united and loved. I know it's hard for them, but that's the Greek way...
Yes of course we do it like this,but also if you do what You prefer, that’s when you’ll mostly feel loved and comfortable and we Greeks are all about that too♥️👌
