- It's moving day and we are moving out of our apartment! I am packing up and cleaning out my apartment while my dad and Jim help the movers load up the uhaul. Bittersweet saying goodbye to our first apartment together but I cannot wait for our new house. Stay tuned until the end for a quick empty apartment tour!

Sophie, absolutely love you. As a landlord for over 40 years, having a renter leave a apt. as clean as you did is amazing. Cleaning my own space is hard enough but cleaning someone else's can be a real challenge. Enjoy your new home with your expanding family.🚚 🛣 🏡
Makes total sense! I would feel terrible to leave things a mess for someone else to clean up! I'm sure they still hire a professional but may as well try my best!

Sophie, you adding the task of filming on top of moving out is honestly pure dedication haha like seriously wow! You are amazing! I laughed when you said you have video proof of you cleaning your apartment hahaha so true! They definitely can't say you didn't love and care for that space :) I hate goodbyes so when you said you were about to run through one last time I almost got teary eyed! It was like seeing a TV show set all emptied out because the show is done but in your case it's just the beginning so I am so excited for this upcoming journey ❤❤❤
Haha I figured it made the most sense to film and clean! It really is so sad to say goodbye even when you are excited for the next chapter. Love that analogy, it is like a TV show with an empty set, but don't worry I'm not going anywhere! 💕

Whoever is your landlord is so lucky to have you for a tenant. You are a land lords dream.😃💕 my daughter is pregnant also and she says her husbands back brace is so helpful, more helpful than the pregnancy brace, hers has a metal support in the back. Very helpful, give it a try. She says it helps so much.

Congratulations on your new home in Nebraska! I move my sofa every couple of months to vacuum under it and behind it, I also make sure to take the cushions off and vacuum the sofa.

You are AMAZING!! You even mopped the floor ❤️👏👏. My parents have a rental home, and when the elderly couple moved out their 4 grown children came to “clean the house”. Also, they brought a box full of donuts probably just sat there and ate. It took my parents 3 weeks to clean the house after 😢.

I didn't expect to feel so sick after! I didn't do any research and just drank it the other day and while the taste wasn't that bad I didn't feel great after it!! Good news is that I think I passed it!

Top tip - we have sofas on legs so the roomba can go underneath each time it runs. With hairy dogs it really is needed so the whole floor is clean!

Sophie, what a great cleaning job you did! I got a bit stressed when you missed a few crumbs vacuum cleaning the floorboards near the kitchen but then realised no, you did a perfect job - I just had a few specks on my iPad screen😄. Good luck in the new house.

If your renting, take move in and move out photos of each room. This will help you get back your deposit.
Most landlords are punks - find any way to rip you off of deposit...
I have definitely had my run ins with a few that try to charge unnecessarily...
