Altho I love that KT finally won the LCK after all the chokes, Im so sad GRF didnt make worlds. Had they made it, they couldve easily crushed almost everyone
I’ll chalk the choke in game 4 to inexperience, crazy to think the org is so inexperienced yet can pull off such a great split. Really hoping they can make it through gauntlet and go to worlds.

Korea will win this world cuz they are the host. They will cheat to win base on what they did in Asian game. Plus they have the history of cheating. Casters from other region cant not go to korea. This world is already a BS.

-Korea woulda had 2 contenders in 2018 Worlds, at least GRF would do better than afs and gen
-Griffin would get more experience, probably enough to win Worlds the next year or even msi
-Griffin and damwon coulda been the next skt and rox/koo and ssg
-Eu fans wouldnt have been too cocky right now lol
We saw what IG did to GRF in 2019 when IG was worse than they were in 2018. Even if GRF had made it to Worlds, IG was still gonna win eventually.

Not in any bad way, but the Korean teams this year for me don’t look all that disgustingly good, nothing compared to what they were a few seasons ago. I think this year at world either China or a team from another region has a very good chance of taking it. As a FNC fan it would be a dream to see us win. We got a chance for sure
It's the learning curve. A few years ago, korean teams weren't actually that good either. If you pit the s3 skt or s4 SSW teams against a team like Griffin today, they would lose 9/10 of the bo5s. So technically, korean teams have gotten a lot better since then and everyone's mechanics/teamplay has gotten better. This ofc, is in a general sense and doesn't include players that quit, fell off, etc. Like many other games, League is relatively easy and fast to learn when you're just starting out. There are a lot of things to focus and improve on and no one really reaches their peak until much later on. But when you've come 8+ years down the road, it's much harder to get better at the game. And even when you do get better, it's by miniscule amounts. Thats why teams from CN and other regions look stronger than ever compared to the korean teams now.
So in short, as years go on, teams have a better chance of beating the koreans. China is showing that rn but I'd expect EU to join them in a few years time.
Welson Ma yeah, FNC which is Eus strongest team, when they play well are more than capable of beating Korean teams, we even seen it at MSI. Korean teams are so much more beatable than you think.
I think I would prefer it that way as well you know, when all regions have a chance it kind of makes the whole thing much more unpredictable, fun and competitive. It will also give the players more of a chance since if any of the teams could challenge, players wouldn’t mind going to those teams. And if that’s the case that would mean there would be more teams overall which will ultimately mean more good players, that has its own benefits as well but you get the point... it would just be a better change for the competition and game in my opinion.
What about kt being undefeated in international tournaments this year ?

The fact that Korea is hosting the world is already a BS. They will 100% cheat to win. Even RNG is the favor as most of the casters predicted. Korea will still win base on what they did in Asian game. They bought the copyright of 2018 asian game final VODs and they banned all the games won by RNG on youtube. They also claimed a rematch with RNG to asian game association because they said RNG break the rule which they got denied. LCK is a joke. They cant not accept the fact that the gap is closing. Nobody is trusting LCK. They dont even allow casters to come to Korea. All the casters have to cast from their own region. If you believe the result of this year World championship. then you are just ignorant af. NA,EU,China, even LMS region are perfectly fine to host World but Korea!!! Korea will do anything to save their Esport.

Viper made mutiple mistakes through out 5 games. If he couldve play a little bit less aggresive. This could be 3:1 easy.
Dude just look at their comp. They randomly pick malp. They could go for gnar. And look at viper at g3 playing like a solo q player. Look at tarzan always always out of position. Dude that tarzan boy is genius thats why he has 2 acc in top 10 kr challenger.
Just analyze griffin at g3. They had so many mistakes. So many flash and skills wasting. They're so cocky at their pick and their plays
