Nah bro in f2p investment to Whale investment lyney is behind arlecchino not bec of ease of use but plain raw pyro dmg, sure he's underrated but stop the cap please he's outperforming hutao at best heck him and hutao are neck to neck if you include plunge playstyle on high investment. The biggest takeaway here is that Lyney is a mechanically intensive character. He has the potential to be on par or even better than Father as long as you put a good amount of investment into him. However I do feel like the vaping lyneys burst isn't actually that important. Sure, it front loads more damage but even if it doesn't vape you'll get a ton of Dmg% from his ascension passive on top of even more Furina vapes which basically makes up for not vaping his burst.

My best friend got into Genshin solely because of the Knave, and it’s perfect that our 2 mains are Pyro legends. It doesn’t even feel like a competition, but rather that we have 2 different styles.
When Arle and Lyney ran together, I was debating between the two. After doing their trial and how Lyney is just rizzing me, I went full in on Lyney lol Not interested in arle now because I have Neuvi and so satisfying to see Lyney nuke the enemies hehe
I love Lyney's design. Super cute, great outfit, very fun. But I don't think I'd do well with his playstyle. Plus, I do really like Arlecchino. I use her most days and I'm very happy with her performance. Speaking of which, I do not have Father's signature weapon, I am using Primordial Jade Winged Spear. i think that arle does insanely well with such a smooth playstyle, i myself prefer how she plays because the animations & sound design are perfect! the nice thing with these two is that you can pick the one which suits your preferences more i would say that yes, its worth it, her sig will be about a 15-20% increase which is quite large & valuable for a signature weapon, & also you get the full experience with her animations! anytime man, thank you for watching! ❤️

I only pulled Arle by accident while trying to get fremmy and lynette cons lol I don’t entirely regret it cause I wanted every member of the House of the Hearth but I think the kids are so much more interesting and more fun to play as dpss. Freminet is surprisingly decent damage for a physical carry (yeah he’s not the best but I’ve cleared abyss with him just fine) lynette actually has some decent stuff in her kit. It’s not the best kinda just budget sucrose but seeing her skill nuke a boss is so satisfying. AND MY MAN LYNEY THE ONE AND ONLY is legit the most fun character in the game for me. I still haven’t 90’d arlechinno cause I just like Lyney more
also i'm a yoimiya main so lmao, the only thing i care is to be able to clear the abyss, if i can do that with my favorite characters on the last second or i can do that with meta characters with 30 seconds to spare... i don't care. it's the same rewards and that's what matters at the end of the day

The Genshin audience is very mature and reasonable, so I'm sure there won't be a bunch of people who didn't pull Lyney sharing their uninformed opinions on how good he is I don't have Lyney and don't plan to pull him, but as a Mualani fan I understand the frustration lol
I finished building my new lyney and yeah juice is correct dude is 100% on the level of arle. I don't even use his vape lyney teams, I still stick to mostly mono pyro or overload and he pops off. He's already the 2nd best dps on my account behind Mualani.
I like comparative videos like this! Such a shame Lynette is often ignored or disparaged. I like that he’s so powerful, niche, and the pay off appears worth it if you decide to go for him - an aspect I believe should be universal for any pull, not that the damage must be too tier but as we’ve discussed, I porthole and purposeful. I can’t pull him due to still being basically 8 months into Genshin and I don’t have my primary rosters gained/built out. Also if I had to choose only one, I like Arrlecchino’s design and personality more so I would still likely go for her and if I’m lucky to gain Mavuika, I don’t see the need for him at that point. I like him as a character though and wish Hoyo wouldn’t see his potentially poor sales as yet another inaccurate reason to not make male characters, let alone of various designs and themes. I hope this video helps those who like him to go for it! I also think it’d be fascinating to see “hypothetical ones” (clearly stating it’s speculation) to guess how Mavuika’s release may change views or meta ranking and see later if any theories or guesses proved correct
Lyney's playstyle depth is comparable to Honkai Impact 3rd lore? That would be my alley if not outright my country (I'm know the facts about the game lore and older events that most post-Genshin newer fans wouldn't admit, like how even the main story Valkyries actually loves Captain too, so I'm mentally insane enough to learn Lyney gameplay style)
I do agree strongly that lyney is stronger than hutao, but you make it feel like where lyney is doing 30secs clear, hutao is doing like 50 secs clear and even in the speedrun communities, hutao and lyney have the similar clear times this abyss, averaging at 40-45secs with arlechinno averaging at around 36ish secs from the speedruns I have seen, and even in the feast of pursuit event, that just passed I barely saw any lyney runs on it and the ones I saw were bad and in that content, c0r1 hutao had similar clear times to c0r1 arlechinno because the enemies had like 10million hp most times, so like what is the basis for these conclusions, cus I feel like at c0r1, lyney is slightly above hutao , arlechinno just slightllyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of them by a hair breadth, so what exactly are your grounds for these conclusions
Zajef addressed this previously, Lyney and Arlecchino tend to be better than Hu Tao when the enemies have lower hp because both of the first characters can front-load a lot of their damage. But whenever the content is more single-target oriented and the enemies have a lot of hp, that frontload matters way less and the gap becomes almost non-existent
Managed to get both Lyney and Arlecchino. Heck, first ten pull of Fontaine I got Lyney. Then the second ten pull after that I got Yelan. Made my female friend super jealous during that time. And Arlecchino I got from saving over 80 pulls worth of primogems after snagging a Furina. Worth it, in my opinion.
Juice, just a curious question, have you ever put hutao against lyney, like glazing aside, have you done dps comparisons in the abyss and the rest especially in single target between lyney and hutao before you come to this conclusions or you are just going of speedruns, you have seen, cus it seems like you are the only cc i have seen making it seem like lyney is far superior to hutao and the others don’t feel the same way
most folks don’t like how lyney plays which is the issue thing is, tao is really good & can compete with lyney when he plays mono pyro. she is a bit underrated nowadays imo, but vape lyney is what separates them so much, because vape lyney’s ST is INCREDIBLE most CCs tend to dislike the playstyle, which is understandable because he isn’t easy to play; even in regular play though, lyney does beat tao & its closer to comp lyney vs arle, but in shielded MP yeah it is a bit closer (shieldless he beats tao again)

Assuming you're playing with a Bennett and Xilonen base, what's the damage difference between Xiangling, Furina, Zhongli and Kazuha as the 4th slot? All of them have both upsides and downsides so I'm wondering where the ideal balance of comfort and damage lies.
Juice will be releasing a guide in a few days, but in the meantime it looks like Bennett + Furina is the core rather than Bennett + Xilonen. Vaping is just that important for his best output, and Furina buffs his damage incredibly well.
I personally find Lyney's (or Ganyu) really realistic ang funny, I mean, real life archers have to charge and shot in order to hit the point, nobody will shot 7 arrows in 6 seconds while moving randomly. I love also how he can keep distance and still deals tons of damage while keepinh himself "safe". I love archers, pyro and ranged characters sooooo... haha
I just got lyney and he is really fun to play! Of course hes kinda hard to master but it wont take a really long time. Plus his damage is amazing❤. I dont regret pulling for him hes cute ❤❤
I have a R0, C1 Arlechinno. And a R2, C0 lyney. Both crazy damages I still like Arlechinno better, and mostly because Lyney is a glass cannon, he gets one shot sometimes and interrupted a lot

So Lyney has the same issue as Eula, you need to keep resetting for the top damage they can do. The only difference is that physical isn't good. Lyney's consistency isn't as good, but hes still strong. Arlecchino is powerful, consistent, and easy to use. It's basically Neuvilette vs Mualani, but Pyro. I've always known that Lyney is good, he's one of my best characters. I will always choose Arlecchino when I'm annoyed and I want to win, but Lyney is still one of my favorites
I have my hu tao and she is doing well and i'm saving for pyro archon but if arle happen to rerun after mavuika i would pull for her. Her gameplay is vary satisfying to me

I love Lyney but I HATE his gameplay 😭 I don’t like fighting in general, so Arle’s “spam NAs mindlessly” gameplay is perfect for me. I do play him sometimes too since I’ve invested so much in him lol Maybe I will learn to use him properly one day…
I have Lyney and he honestly feels like ass to play against anything that isn't a boss that doesn't immediately attack. I was trying to do his vape nuke setups in this abyss and having to dodge once basically ruined my setups because of my buff timers expiring. I don't think the argument of "when played optimally hes better than Arlecchino" really holds up outside of fringe speedrunning scenarios. And even there I think its still a dubious claim. Ease of use will always be something to consider because not having to commit yourself to doing the difficult vape setups for a slightly faster run is something only the utterly deranged would justify to themselves.
I benched my c1 r1 Neuvi and Arle cause they are boring to me, but my skill level I guess just isn't good enough to make Lyney better than HuTao even. I clear faster with HuTao consistently. Yes, when Lyney has a perfect run on a low to mid hp boss he is faster, 5-6 resets later he'll save me 10 seconds, I don't have time for that generally. Since Xilonen came out I haven't even bothered comparing them because she made HuTao/Furina/Yelan stupidly buffer. Both Lyney and HuTao are c1r1. As my main, HuTao has 4 years worth of "extra resin" and strongbox artifact farming so her stats are better too. Having to reset everytime c4r1 Furina gets dazed/knocked back coming out of her burst or Lyney eats something that interrupts while charging is annoying, and I clearly lack the skill to make that completely unlikely to happen.

And don't bring that speedruns debate it's not practical. just as your video mentioned ease of use consistent damage and not having to restart 10 times to get a satisfying clear like you are making a showcase video. Arlecchino is considered a better character because of her ease of use with high damage on a lower investment and hutao does high damage at medium investments while sacrificing ease of use but lyney does high damage which is not consistent at all and takes similar investment to reach that. If you need to restart constantly to get that with a 200/300k nuke it's not worth it. Plus desperately using him with furina to inflate his damage is another level of craziness but that is fair. Gcsim argument is invalid because I'm pretty sure it runs a simulation repeating almost perfect rotation many times and shows an average dps in all of those simulations which shows a dps a potential of characters like arle nuvi hutao because their rotations are more easy to do then lyney so that won't work too. ( Last time my comment got removed i don't know how could have been my own mistake too so im saying this just in case it wasn't you) Happy debunking all of my points with valid points😊.

Also hutao doesn't need Bennett and uses characters who are not needed in this meta for her f2p teams and in premium teams i still believe furina is better played with hutao and Navia after nuvi more than lyney.
Well maybe in 10 years or so. As of now, Lyney, Lynette, Freminet and the Traveler combined still lost to Arlecchino. So Lyney alone won't be able to compete, at all.
C1 arle is stronger imo, i do think arle is generally a better unit, but C1 lyney is very competitive if played well C1 arle gets better results on the whole tho

I only pulled Arle by accident while trying to get fremmy and lynette cons lol I don’t entirely regret it cause I wanted every member of the House of the Hearth but I think the kids are so much more interesting and more fun to play as dpss. Freminet is surprisingly decent damage for a physical carry (yeah he’s not the best but I’ve cleared abyss with him just fine) lynette actually has some decent stuff in her kit. It’s not the best kinda just budget sucrose but seeing her skill nuke a boss is so satisfying. AND MY MAN LYNEY THE ONE AND ONLY is legit the most fun character in the game for me. I still haven’t 90’d arlechinno cause I just like Lyney more
also i'm a yoimiya main so lmao, the only thing i care is to be able to clear the abyss, if i can do that with my favorite characters on the last second or i can do that with meta characters with 30 seconds to spare... i don't care. it's the same rewards and that's what matters at the end of the day

I finished building my new lyney and yeah juice is correct dude is 100% on the level of arle. I don't even use his vape lyney teams, I still stick to mostly mono pyro or overload and he pops off.
He's already the 2nd best dps on my account behind Mualani.

Such a shame Lynette is often ignored or disparaged. I like that he’s so powerful, niche, and the pay off appears worth it if you decide to go for him - an aspect I believe should be universal for any pull, not that the damage must be too tier but as we’ve discussed, I porthole and purposeful.
I can’t pull him due to still being basically 8 months into Genshin and I don’t have my primary rosters gained/built out. Also if I had to choose only one, I like Arrlecchino’s design and personality more so I would still likely go for her and if I’m lucky to gain Mavuika, I don’t see the need for him at that point. I like him as a character though and wish Hoyo wouldn’t see his potentially poor sales as yet another inaccurate reason to not make male characters, let alone of various designs and themes.

Lyney's playstyle depth is comparable to Honkai Impact 3rd lore? That would be my alley if not outright my country (I'm know the facts about the game lore and older events that most post-Genshin newer fans wouldn't admit, like how even the main story Valkyries actually loves Captain too, so I'm mentally insane enough to learn Lyney gameplay style)
I do agree strongly that lyney is stronger than hutao, but you make it feel like where lyney is doing 30secs clear, hutao is doing like 50 secs clear and even in the speedrun communities, hutao and lyney have the similar clear times this abyss, averaging at 40-45secs with arlechinno averaging at around 36ish secs from the speedruns I have seen, and even in the feast of pursuit event, that just passed I barely saw any lyney runs on it and the ones I saw were bad and in that content, c0r1 hutao had similar clear times to c0r1 arlechinno because the enemies had like 10million hp most times, so like what is the basis for these conclusions, cus I feel like at c0r1, lyney is slightly above hutao , arlechinno just slightllyyyyyyyyyyy ahead of them by a hair breadth, so what exactly are your grounds for these conclusions
Zajef addressed this previously, Lyney and Arlecchino tend to be better than Hu Tao when the enemies have lower hp because both of the first characters can front-load a lot of their damage. But whenever the content is more single-target oriented and the enemies have a lot of hp, that frontload matters way less and the gap becomes almost non-existent
@@Samachi727 yes, we can see it clearly in this abyss top half that hutao have a better clear time in 12-1 while lyney better in 12-2 12-3.
I love Lyney, even in the overworld, pyro ranged is super useful to deal with chields and puzzles. And then he's also brilliant in gameplay.

Heck, first ten pull of Fontaine I got Lyney. Then the second ten pull after that I got Yelan. Made my female friend super jealous during that time.
And Arlecchino I got from saving over 80 pulls worth of primogems after snagging a Furina. Worth it, in my opinion.

Juice, just a curious question, have you ever put hutao against lyney, like glazing aside, have you done dps comparisons in the abyss and the rest especially in single target between lyney and hutao before you come to this conclusions or you are just going of speedruns, you have seen, cus it seems like you are the only cc i have seen making it seem like lyney is far superior to hutao and the others don’t feel the same way

thing is, tao is really good & can compete with lyney when he plays mono pyro. she is a bit underrated nowadays imo, but vape lyney is what separates them so much, because vape lyney’s ST is INCREDIBLE
most CCs tend to dislike the playstyle, which is understandable because he isn’t easy to play; even in regular play though, lyney does beat tao & its closer to comp lyney vs arle, but in shielded MP yeah it is a bit closer (shieldless he beats tao again)

Assuming you're playing with a Bennett and Xilonen base, what's the damage difference between Xiangling, Furina, Zhongli and Kazuha as the 4th slot? All of them have both upsides and downsides so I'm wondering where the ideal balance of comfort and damage lies.
Juice will be releasing a guide in a few days, but in the meantime it looks like Bennett + Furina is the core rather than Bennett + Xilonen. Vaping is just that important for his best output, and Furina buffs his damage incredibly well.

I personally find Lyney's (or Ganyu) really realistic ang funny, I mean, real life archers have to charge and shot in order to hit the point, nobody will shot 7 arrows in 6 seconds while moving randomly. I love also how he can keep distance and still deals tons of damage while keepinh himself "safe".

I just got lyney and he is really fun to play! Of course hes kinda hard to master but it wont take a really long time. Plus his damage is amazing❤. I dont regret pulling for him hes cute ❤❤

So Lyney has the same issue as Eula, you need to keep resetting for the top damage they can do. The only difference is that physical isn't good. Lyney's consistency isn't as good, but hes still strong. Arlecchino is powerful, consistent, and easy to use. It's basically Neuvilette vs Mualani, but Pyro.
I've always known that Lyney is good, he's one of my best characters. I will always choose Arlecchino when I'm annoyed and I want to win, but Lyney is still one of my favorites
I have my hu tao and she is doing well and i'm saving for pyro archon but if arle happen to rerun after mavuika i would pull for her. Her gameplay is vary satisfying to me

I have Lyney and he honestly feels like ass to play against anything that isn't a boss that doesn't immediately attack. I was trying to do his vape nuke setups in this abyss and having to dodge once basically ruined my setups because of my buff timers expiring. I don't think the argument of "when played optimally hes better than Arlecchino" really holds up outside of fringe speedrunning scenarios. And even there I think its still a dubious claim. Ease of use will always be something to consider because not having to commit yourself to doing the difficult vape setups for a slightly faster run is something only the utterly deranged would justify to themselves.

I benched my c1 r1 Neuvi and Arle cause they are boring to me, but my skill level I guess just isn't good enough to make Lyney better than HuTao even. I clear faster with HuTao consistently. Yes, when Lyney has a perfect run on a low to mid hp boss he is faster, 5-6 resets later he'll save me 10 seconds, I don't have time for that generally. Since Xilonen came out I haven't even bothered comparing them because she made HuTao/Furina/Yelan stupidly buffer. Both Lyney and HuTao are c1r1. As my main, HuTao has 4 years worth of "extra resin" and strongbox artifact farming so her stats are better too. Having to reset everytime c4r1 Furina gets dazed/knocked back coming out of her burst or Lyney eats something that interrupts while charging is annoying, and I clearly lack the skill to make that completely unlikely to happen.

And don't bring that speedruns debate it's not practical. just as your video mentioned ease of use consistent damage and not having to restart 10 times to get a satisfying clear like you are making a showcase video. Arlecchino is considered a better character because of her ease of use with high damage on a lower investment and hutao does high damage at medium investments while sacrificing ease of use but lyney does high damage which is not consistent at all and takes similar investment to reach that. If you need to restart constantly to get that with a 200/300k nuke it's not worth it. Plus desperately using him with furina to inflate his damage is another level of craziness but that is fair. Gcsim argument is invalid because I'm pretty sure it runs a simulation repeating almost perfect rotation many times and shows an average dps in all of those simulations which shows a dps a potential of characters like arle nuvi hutao because their rotations are more easy to do then lyney so that won't work too. ( Last time my comment got removed i don't know how could have been my own mistake too so im saying this just in case it wasn't you) Happy debunking all of my points with valid points😊.

Also hutao doesn't need Bennett and uses characters who are not needed in this meta for her f2p teams and in premium teams i still believe furina is better played with hutao and Navia after nuvi more than lyney.

I always ran out of time before defeating it in the ground using Raiden overload. Such abomination, if I didn't defeat it this abyss cycle I'll consider pulling on Lyney
