This top is one my short list to do this winter. Loved your tutorial for the pleats. Your dresses for your granddaughter are so lovely. What a good grandma you are,
Hey Grace! Okay, your B6517 top is one of my favorite makes of yours for 2024! BEAUTIFUL!!! Great print on the fabric and love the unique sewing pattern design. Really, really nice!!! What a great person you are for making not just one, but two dresses for your niece. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 Spent my day today putting together some IKEA furniture for my sewing rooms. Tomorrow I'll continue working. So happy that I'll finally have some real furniture in my sewing rooms so that I have some place to put my binders, sewing and crafting books, fabric, notions, etc. So far, the furniture has been very easy to put together by myself. This weekend, I'll be assembling 3 short Billy bookcases and a couple of tall Billy bookcases, but that shouldn't be too difficult. Got an Alex bookcase assembled, my two Alex drawer units assembled, and the long table top is now on the Alex units with my BL Jazz II machine and my Juki serger on top. Progress is being made!!!! Whoo hoo!!!! 😀🥳🍾🎈🎉 My plan is to spend Christmas sewing and playing in my new sewing rooms. Can't wait!!! Hasn't gotten quite as cold as 32 degrees here (yet?), but the nights have gotten into the 40's, which makes for good sleeping weather! Can't wait to finally meet up with you after the New Year! Hugs, Dori
Wow Dori! Thank you! That's so nice to know you really like this top. I do want to make it in a solid color and also the color blocking view. I'm glad you are getting your sewing room together. Hi Grace, what a great top. It fits you perfectly. Thanks for showing the pleating construction. Your granddaughters dresses are darling. How cute that she picked out the pattern. Very nice video. Yep, I'm inspired !
I love the top! It's super flattering and really classy. How nice that it's made out of knit! The dresses turned out so nice, too! I bet she felt fantastic wearing them! I'm cutting back again for the New Year! See you Sunday! 🥰💝💝💝
I have the same shirt pattern. I've been looking at it for awhile, but I prefer sewing stable fabrics. Maybe I will try. I do need more long sleeves for the winter. Wednesday was -1 wind chill in Iowa, hence more long sleeves. LOL Your granddaughter looks so cute in her new dresses! Yeah for Grandmother!
