One doesn’t just out run the AIM-120s…… one must turn and do a little dance. 9-3, 9-3,9-3… maybe just twice.. drop like 3 chaff on the first 9-3, do one more than drop alt to turn around….. all these doofuses are flying in straight lines away from the missile like its gunna do something…….
Trep I respect you for not taking 8 AMRAAMs. And fun fact you do not have to lock them at all. You can just use TWS like on the F14, if you shoot it from above 16km away you have to keep the TWS on so the missile tracks, under 16km you can just fire and forget
Can shoot from long-rang3 and break lock, missile will proceed to 16km of where bandit was anticipated and the missile will switch on radar then target and attack first radar profile detected
Using a STT means that the missile is harder to notch. Only use TWS at longer ranges to ensure the enemy only receives a launch warning once the missiles own radar acquires them. If they are aware of the launch and are only attacking one target maintain lock
Nah look if you look on ur radar display, the circle is where the missile will hit, the line is distance to the target, and the small dot at the end of the line is ur missile. If there is no circle u dont gotta hold lock as it means the missile is guiding by itself. Also use tws, is sometimes better to launch amraams from 20km so you get them out first.

I thought the F-15C would have a horrible stock grind, but when i got mine i just grinded straight to the 120s and it was actually really good even stock, the 9Ms/7Ms and HMD really give you a lot to work with. i didn't touch the bombs and also didn't even bother getting chaff until after the AIM-120. overall a pretty chill stock grind for it.

That is not true. The most effective defense against the AMRAAM is to burn cold and run away from the missile
F-15c stock grind was tough ngl, but once you unlock the 7ms it gets somewhat better as long as you play smart
The Fox3 missile will hold its own track at 16 kilometers and are very manuverable . The 9m's are now also very manuverable 👌

I personally take 6 AMRAAMs mostly for historical reasons, as that's what you'd see on a real F-15C

Trepkas, if you get shot at by a friendly and your damaged but flying just crash so they have to pay you

Trep, you can carry 8 120s and all of them will track people because f15 can track up to 8 targets simultaneously
