Enjoyed the ride thru New Mexico and your commentary. Only 25 to 30 miles but still nice to watch since I have never been to New Mexico. You are indeed a good You Tuber👍
I have never been to Ruidoso or to NM even...its beautiful! Thank you for sharing! Love your ride-alongs! I could watch for hours👍👍👍 Stay safe my friend! Greetings from North Carolina
Ruidoso's where the quarter horse races happen! On my bucket list! Love New Mexico's mountains! PS I wonder if they're pinion trees. PPS It's the stuff of solo road trips!
Great driving video Rusty. I've been to Ruidoso a few times. Love you sight seeing drives. I watched all the way to the end, as I always do. Have a great day my friend 👍
Loved the video Rusty.....Ruidoso sure seems like a place I'd enjoy visiting......3 years ago we did a Route 66 trip and both my wife and I fell in love with the state of NM.....living here in Ohio, I envy you in your ability to so easily reach such beautiful country in few days of easy driving
Just drove through Arkansas picked up 35 to 10 to El Paso. Enjoyed the scenery and 35 is a really nice drive. On my way to NM and Ute Lake now. Love Texas.
Rusty enjoying the ride and letting us know hwys and miles to and from. Your such a great tour guide!. From OKLAHOMA safe travels Rusty and all rangers. 👍
Thank you for the great video of a little piece of my home state. Your work is informative and appreciated. That jet trail is unfortunately a toxic chemtrail (containing aluminum, barium, strontium, and other toxins) that's released by specific unidentified high altitude jets. The release of the coal fly ash material into the atmosphere is part of a geoengineering program responsible for weather modification, such as the tremendous drought in California, including amplified wildfires (like the ones that had taken place near Los Angeles and Montecito in December 2017, when we should have had a rainy season). Great channels to learn from concerning the damaging effects of geoengineering are 1pacificredwood, Dane Wigington, and Cirstenw.
Beautiful! I just came through Clayton by way of Texline/Dalhart then on into Raton Pass & then into COLORADO on I-25 North into The Sangre de Christo mountain range there in Southern COLORADO 😎 And I lived in Farmington when I was a kid. New Mexico is SO beautiful! Great Vid Rusty!
I grew up in El Paso and we use to go up there for weekends also there is a couple of motorcycle rallys , I think there should be lots of motorcycles there this weekend
Yes he did!!, Raised my family there and that is what I would tell the tourists, "Don't Tell anyone about this place".........Yea I Shure do miss it!!! 👍
About 7800 folks in Ruidoso, NM, at least when the Texans haven’t invaded it. And you said it just after I typed it. Lol. My brother from Texas is up there right now.
@@rusty78609on the wash cloth issue: just drape it over so the camera is covered / all but lens. you can even use a small piece of painters tape to hold it on for a while. I buy a bundle of them from WalMart. cheap. It sure beats that hot sun problem.
Hey Rusty, Just an FYI that you may want to share with your viewers. Verizon is retiring the Prepaid $65 plan on May 21. Those that are on the plan before that date will continue on the plan but it will no longer be available for new service. Those are considering the $65 unlimited plan need to act FAST.... All the best.
In the beginning of your video the hill had a bunch of felled trees. Like a giant gust of wind had felled them or something. Do you know why they are that way? Just curious.
I watched this video. Why? Because I’m “town shopping” of course. I want to eventually leave the hell hot humid heat of West Tennessee but I still want at least some green grass and trees. Ruidoso seems to have it all, plus some pretty mountains and it looks a bit bigger than Cloudcroft.
Rusty, thanks so much for taking us on your travels. Tom and I thoroughly enjoy all your videos and yes we ALWAYS watch till the very end. 👍👍👍

Nice and green! I thought there are only deserts in your area. So you see I'm not familiar with the geographic situation in New Mexico.
Yes, we care Rusty.

Rusty you ever downloaded the gasbuddy app. It will show you what the gas prices are in your area by price and or distance
Rusty $2.89 for gas is a good deal , here in LA it's $4.00.... Beautiful country / drive

Green Avocado in a paper sack will ripen it right up
It happens to be very interesting watching you drive the highways !! And learn to navigate ! I love things like that !! Do more of it !! Best video
Thanks Rusty, nice drive and beautiful in Ruidoso. So different from Zozo
Very very cold in the winter
Been to Ruidoso several times it is a ski resort town... the wildlife sign you came across was to warn you about the elk and wild horses...
About 7800 folks in Ruidoso, NM, at least when the Texans haven’t invaded it. And you said it just after I typed it. Lol. My brother from Texas is up there right now.

To keep items cooler on dash. Cover with white wash towel. Let's air thru. Try dollor store or Walmart

Gas here in the San Jose area has hit over $4.00 per gallon. Wish we had those prices you were quoting! 😮

FYI I found three campgrounds in the Lincoln Forest near Ruidoso. Skyline, South Fork and Oak Grove campground.
Hey Rusty, I suggest you Gas Buddy app. You can check the gas prices in advance so you know where to go. Safe travels!:)
God's Country...
Yep sure is, the Texans that would go up there in the summer would say Midland or Odessa was God's Country...... hahahaàa 😁
Pinion pines.
They smell good if you burn one of them in a fire
👍
