Another reason the tesla sounds louder on the road is because of the fact there is no hum from the engine since there isn't one. Tyres also are a big factor in road noise and investing in different ones may help dramatically.

100% I still do find it louder compared to modern ICE vehicles. Once I've finished the Sport 4 Tyres that came with the car, I'll be looking for something a bit more quiet.

I do understand some of the negative comments (particularly the stereo balance, dude just move the balance the rear in the other setting screen) but I gave it a thumbs up because it calls out Tesla on some frustrating things. I’d be well annoyed with needing to do a screen reset so frequently in the first month of ownership. Also the wheels do stick out beyond the rubber more than most cars. Maybe this is for aero improvement? Dunno but it’s annoying and I will definitely end up with scuffed wheels because of this.
But I’m really not a fan of the new UI with the smaller map giving more space for FSD info. I get what you’re saying when you say this feels like an update you’ve been forced to accept.

Appreciate you watching the video! For me the Stereo was certainly a smaller gripe, compared to the rest. On further inspection I think it's due to the setup of the speakers in the car than anything else.
There's only two door speakers in the rear (as well as a few in the boot). However there's a dominance of speakers in the front of the car.
But the rims on the wheels in addition to the unpredictable software updates are annoying.

Everyone was so eager to do sound tests on the 2021 model 3 to see how different the noise levels were (spoiler: no difference) all the while completely ignoring the fact that the primary plan of the double pane was for thermal insulation (to help with efficiency), not sound insulation.

I feel most reviewers pushed their 'Hopes' of reduced noise onto the new double-paned glass. Frustrating that they didn't make moves in that area of the car thou !

My first car was a Suzuki Swift which I had for 8 years! Got rid of that for a VW Golf R and now getting a Model 3 Long Range in grey, can’t wait to pick it up in late Feb! 👌

Amazing! It's a great car, and has the same go-kart like handling that the Tesla has! You'll love it, honestly it's such a great car!

5:45 you don't even seem to understand how your tesla car work, why make this horrible video on tesla? Have you recently lost a lot of money by short selling Tesla stock?

Wow I have mine on order due for delivery early Feb, I've been driving a BMW 5 series until now so a bit nervous that I'm gonna end up having serious buyers remorse 🙈

Best of luck! It's still an amazing car, the tech and acceleration are phenomenal! There are certainly more practical, and more comfortable cars however! 👀

@@handbrake3057 Thanks for the reply, so if you were to have the experience you have now would you buy again?

    • @handbrake3057

I still would! The company tax benefits, the Tesla Charging network all played big factors. I would suggest looking at the Polestar 2 for better build quality; however you miss the Charging Network & Range.
When I'm looking for my next car, in a few years time, if Rapid Charging was more accessible, and the ranges had increased across the board. I think it would be a more difficult choice! But by then, Tesla might finally have their self-driving tech completed, so it could be a different race entirely!

@@handbrake3057 Thanks for the advise, ah I'll take the plunge and hope the coolness of the tech will overcome the quality issues 👀....at least Tesla's at the moment hold there value quite well a Mercedes or BMW depreciates by 50% after 2/3 years the model 3 seems too be holding its value quite well.

Your complaints are sensation minded to get views. I own a model 3 as well and many of your complaints dont even make sense, such as the immersive sound, the road noise, the resetting etc. But hey, you got my view plus reaction and thats what you wanted.

Obviously this is a subjective video 👀 - but they’re all issues I faced within my first month of ownership. If you’ve not had the same issues with your M3 - fair enough! 💕

In my opinion a tesla isnt a good car they are ugly the build quality isnt that good and for what u are paying for it. It isnt worth it.

    • @handbrake3057
      @handbrake3057  3 года назад

Ugly is subjective, and the build quality has got alot better. When you're comparing it to other Electric Cars, there's no question. The battery & motor tech that Tesla has is miles ahead of the competition.
