Stumbled on this video thanks to YT recommendations! Heads-up on the next GPUJune. I'm not hosting it, but that doesn't mean people aren't going to make videos for it.
The Rage Pro can keep up with a Voodoo 1 in some games, but if I had to guess, I'd guess that the drivers just aren't very well optimized for the Rage.
Jealousy here mate. I still have my (at the time was my first 'Gaming" pc) K62 cpu and really want to find a board / memory etc for it, unfortunately the boards i find are too expensive imo, so im holding out till i find a beige boxed system to pop it into . One day :) Cheers.
That's pretty much how I found most of the stuff in this system. Just getting lucky at thrift stores and an office that was going out of business many years ago.
@@NTGTechnology Nice.. thats how i get some of my gear too. Or people donate old beige boxes and other old office junk like dells and hps to me knowing i collect and donate to others who cant afford a system . unfortunately a lot i get it isnt the stuff I "Want" but good enough to add to the collection or pass on to someone who needs it more than my dust does to lay on :) Cheers

Aww dang... Oh well, I'll keep working on it regardless.
Your channel hits a very comfy spot for me much like green ham gaming but your editing makes it feel much more down to earth. Love it thank you
Releasing the same chip with a new name and their updated driver is probably the most ATI/AMD thing I’ve ever heard
Your editing and narration style reminds me of Shelby over at Tech Tangets, good stuff
That chassis flex tho...
She be squeakin
Very interesting benchmarks. I guess that with a Voodoo 1, the games would have most probably run better than witb the ATI Rage Pro.

20:19 bro it should be 66.6666… MHz, hence 200MHz.
I was kinda thinking that was maybe the case, but it's almost always listed as 66 MHz on the motherboards so, can you really blame me?
@@NTGTechnology ofc not fam, much love
Hello@@mtunayucer It's always periodic right, like 33.3333, 16.6666, 8.33333, 4.1666666?
