This year presentation of the content , outlook and answers linked to current status will b the determining factor of scoring . So as a general view the prediction seems good and realistic . Apart from that many aspirants may not have felt comfortable on qualifying papers; especially in English . After first day of exam at least 6 to 7 students were reported absent from every room allotted for exam in every centre . Moreover some students never attended due to different reasons . We have to take these issues too into observation . So Bikash Sir may be right in his preliminary prediction for this yesr mains .

@@asuccessfulfailure I think the same more or less. For UR it may be around 750-800. As many of these questions were generalised questions this time, with data driven analysis and factual points, one will get higher marks.
