I’m playing 1st trombone for this in grade 11 symphonic band and gotta say this is one of the hardest pieces I’ve ever played in concert band.

@@pr0xi_zura. I don’t know which is the hardest part for me. Probably all the high notes since I’m playing 1st and I’m actually the only one playing 1st trombone.

I'm playing this in my concert band, and it's definitely hard because I'm a clarinet player and on the third part so during the sixteenth note runs I have to go over the break lol

Ahh 2013, my final year in middle school and this was the final piece we had to perform. After only two years as a clarinetist, and as a musician overall, 3:06 was the hardest part I ever played at the time.
Safe to say, I wanted to continue band after that

Its been TWO YEARS since i played this peice in highschool and I still clap like that 😭 I had the "dry" claps so I had to pound the pattern into my skull and still almost got lost

It's meant to be done live. Typically by more than one person.

@@marka2773 if so, it wouldn't be a solo. It was officially written as a solo, I know because I had to play it.

1st chair clarinetist, very difficult. 1st chair trumpet, EXTREMELY difficult. 1st chair floutist, extra extremely difficult.
That is why I chose to stick with clarinet and leave the others with their respective groups.
